While it has a bunch of patches that can boost gaming performance and such it’s stability takes a hit in some areas. It’s also not quite as user friendly as other options. It can be better for those looking for a fedora base if that’s what they prefer, tho.
It’s also extremely opinionated & while it’s a great fit for those who have a matching use case, for general uses it’s a bit too opinionated.
It’s neither the worst, nor the best. It just highly depends on use case.

I wouldn’t recommend Nobara, maybe in a few cases but otherwise it’s not the best to enter into Linux with.

Exactly what I’m saying. It has nothing to do with his mental disorders, it’s purely social influence from the cybercriminal ring and egotism.
He desires to be seen as a legend and the members of Lapsus$ are no doubt going to be praising the hell out of him for pulling off something so audacious.

OP is making it out to be like he has psychopathy or ASPD or some shit, which is not a diagnosis that’s publicly known at this time even if that were the case. I’d rather not make massive generalizations of someone based on something that has 0 backing too.
The only disorder we know he’s diagnosed with is acute autism and nothing else, which just as you said :

It could be something as simple as needing to feel powerful in their space. That’s something a lot of people, autistic or not, can fall prey to

Which is exactly the point I’m making.

Windows dev thing.

No. He wants to perform crimes because he fell into the wrong crowd and developed a massive ego.
His acute autism doesn’t predisposed him towards criminal actions.

Like what? If it’s not something he’s publicly diagnosed with, then how do you know it’s not just main character syndrome? Remember, he’s not a solo act; he’s apart of Lapsus$ and there’s no doubt they helped create his twisted personality.

Work on your reading comprehension skills ◉‿◉

There’s a big difference between Working on vs is working. They’re Working on a full port, other than that you have preliminary access that’s not intended for casual users; only developers, tinkers/enthusiast & testers.

This design document is intended for Xfce developers to begin brainstorming ideas for future development. This is a work in progress and does not imply any future implementation commitments.

Should’ve been your first hint.

Phoronix’s comment section is usually full of trolls, shills, and people afflicted with brain rot. So I don’t even bother reading them anymore.

[Discussion] How do you feel about age verification on Porn sites? (lemmings.world)

Porn sites Pornhub, XVideos, and Stripchat face stricter requirements to verify the ages of their users after being officially designated as “Very Large Online Platforms” (VLOPs) under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA)....

Right. Investment wise, it’s just like any other crypto; just fuckin don’t.
But technology wise it’s by far the best to use as an actual currency.

Wayland is a communication protocol that specifies the communication between a display server and its clients, designed to be a replacement for the X11 window system protocol and architecture.
I might be a little nitpicky here, but I feel it’s an important distinction to make as there is no single common Wayland server like Xorg is for X11.
A display server using the Wayland protocol is called a Wayland compositor, as it additionally performs the task of a compositing window manager.
Xorg on the other hand is basically one fat display server designed like a house of cards that everyone uses.

Java aplications and old applications must use a backwards compatibility layer that can cause flicker and bad font rendering.

There have been efforts to provide better support for Java applications on the Wayland. For instance, the OpenJDK project has been making progress on implementing native “pure” Wayland toolkit integration not dependent upon XOrg/X11 or XWayland.

but not all toolkits support it natively and few are easy.

There have been significant developments in providing native support for Wayland in various toolkits. For example : Clutter, GLFW 3, SDL, GTK 3.20+, QT5+, EFL, Slint, Iced & OpenJDK. Just to name a few.
While it is true that not all toolkits have full native support, ongoing work is/has largely shifted towards much better Wayland support.

"Combokeys" instead of hotkeys. [Feature/new command suggestion]

In what way? Like a home partition?
Home should just be a folder you can copy over in most cases.
If it’s a separate partition, most distros can just install to the other partitions without overwriting the home partition.
