S_204,

Team Blue as well. Now that I’ve got kids my projects are much more repair/renovation oriented than new build LoL.

S_204,

LoL. This is just so stupid. The UN offered the Arabs the same deal. One side chose peace the other chose war.

In the 30s the Arabs were offered more than they were in 48 and didn’t want peace then.

900,000 Jews were ethnically cleansed from Arab Nations in the 40s. The Arab population in Israel has risen by tenfold since the inception of Israel. The population of Gaza has increased by a similar level.

You’ve fallen victim to Arab imperialist propaganda.

S_204,

Missing the Palestinian flag there Buddy.

S_204,

Another dope who’s swallowed Iran’s Propaganda. Good job. Israel didn’t start it in October, or in '48 or any of the wars in between.

S_204,

No but it makes them justified. When faced with an existential threat, there is no choice but to eliminate it.

This all ends when Hamas gives up their terroristic control. Even the Arabs understand that and are including it in their peace deal negotiations.

S_204,

It’s a picture not an article…and you still struggled to read it. LoL.

China cracks down on negativity over economy in bid to boost confidence amid record high youth unemployment and struggling property sector (www.theguardian.com)

This month the Weibo account Weibo Finance, which has more than 1.5 million followers, issued an instruction against posting any comments “that bad-mouth the economy”. The post appears to have since been deleted. Bloomberg reported that several other finance influencers had been told by Weibo to “avoid crossing red...

S_204,

So China can meddle in the sentiment and politics of america but they are scared of the same happening to them?

I hope they choke on a bag of dicks. Taiwan should invade while China is so weak so they can reunify one China under its proper leadership.

S_204,

I was like 3. We were moving into a new home, my brother and I are sitting on the front steps and the driveway is just gravel and rebar, no concrete yet.

Nothing special about it, just a memory of sitting there with my older brother on a warm day. I’d bet we went to the park afterwards but can’t recall.

I have vague memory of the house before that. The curtains in my room for some reason. Nothing particular, just them moving in the wind. .

The brain is weird.

S_204,

My wife is a dev in a union for a government adjacent not for profit LoL. Think along the lines of an NTSB type organization but not American.

She’s got 3 raises in the past year, AND her role got recatogorized where she had to get her salary adjusted to be on par with everyone in her new unit so she’ll be getting another one along with back pay for 4 months. I don’t even understand how it’s been handled but she’s up over 25% since last year.

So the advice above is solid. I’m hoping to retire early and become a stay at home dad if she keeps this up.

One man’s mission to end the Uyghur genocide in China: a physician, who helped set up a campaign to protest against the persecution of the Uyghurs, says that Jews had “a duty to join the protest” (www.thejc.com)

Sheldon Stone, 68, became involved in Stop Uyghur Genocide after coming across a testimony from a survivor of a Uyghur concentration camp in China....

S_204,

Interesting how the world is so silent on the genocide clearly occuring in China and focusing on the fastest growing population in the world in Gaza.

Not saying one tragedy is greater than the other, just interested in how social media has influenced the behaviour of the younger generation. Ain’t too many pro Uyghur showing up on tik tok.

With hope, 2024 brings peace to gazans and Uyghurs. I’ve got a feeling it’s closer at hand for the gazans with Hamas on their heels but time will tell.

S_204,

Qatari money isn’t being used to prop up a terrorist organization in Sudan, obviously they’re not going to get the same support the general populations attention has been pushed away from Sudan in favor of Chinese psyop apps and Qatari state media.

American politicians aren’t any different than the general public. They go where they’re led. If they don’t they quite often get run out of office.

Iran, child bride and year-long victim of domestic violence Samira Sabzian who killed her 'husband' has been been executed in Ghezelhesar Prison (www.iranhr.net)

Samira was a child bride married at 15 and a victim of domestic violence. She had two young children, one a new-born baby, when she was arrested and had not seen her children in ten years. She saw them for the first and last time when they came to the prison to say goodbye....

S_204,

Islamic jihadism is a problem that the world needs to get in front of.

The problem is, there’s a lot of wealth in the places that are true believers in Islamic jihadism and that wealth is being used nefariously to undermine liberal western democratic ideals. Watching people cheer for Osama bin Laden should be a real eye opener for the west but it might already be too late.

Sold to Salafism: The millions for which Golf-pro Jon Rahm sold himself to Saudi Arabia hide tortured citizens, executed minors, women sentenced to perpetual confinement, and enslaved foreign workers (english.elpais.com)

They will tell us that they are just athletes chasing or hitting balls, but by agreeing to do so in exchange for the huge amounts of money paid to them by Saudi Arabia, they are becoming political actors in a regime that spreads its anti-democratic values throughout the world....

S_204,

Interesting how the Saudi export of their religion is a problem but you’ve got people in the streets cheering for Hamas who is just as brutal if not worse in their upholding of their interpretation of Islamic laws. One’s certainly more subtle than attacking and killing a bunch of civilians but both are troublesome for Western democractic ideals.

Iran and Qatari investments are paying off . Better than the investment in a golf league… y’know, if you don’t value human life that is.

S_204,

Fuck Dagestan. All my homies hate those airport terrorizing Dagestanians.

S_204,

Was at a Christmas party last night and a guy dropped a 2 foot long double ended dildo on the table.

Male to Male adapters exist, but electrically questionable.

S_204,

Really fun ones.

The guy in question is a firefighter.

S_204,

Kinda seems like Ireland just hates itself right now. Can’t figure out how to support the terrorists in the middle east while stemming the terrorism they are claiming is happening at home.

Fascinating stuff in the land that introduced me to terrorism in my youth.

Strong leadership is needed to navigate that mess.

S_204,

How can you say no one supports Hamas when there’s news clips and plenty of photos of Green flags being flown at rallys? There are unquestionably people who support Hamas amongst your countrymen.

If you supported the Palestinian people, you’d be supporting the removal of Hamas. I don’t agree with Israels tactics but I fully support their goals.

S_204, (edited )

I read your comment to the point where you lost credibility. You’re saying no one supports them when there is clear support. Take a step into reality and then the conversation can continue.

Both sidesing this is fucking bullshit too. One side is clearly saying they’re not going to stop. Once they are removed there’s a chance for diplomacy.

S_204,

Hamas is still saying they’re going to massacre Jews. They’re saying it on TV in Arabic for everyone to hear.

When they stop calling for genocide, the deaths will stop. They’re not going to do that though, they have less respect for human life than you seem to be able to acknowledge.

That you’re defending those who carry the flags of terrorists is utterly disgusting but you’ve already established who you are with your comments so I’m past being surprised. That you’re intentionally ignoring what the world witnessed just reinforces your bigotry for anyone who sees your comments.

S_204, (edited )

I’m hearing you loud and clear. you’re covering for terrorists and their supporters. End of story. Trying to obfuscate or deflect doesn’t work and it’s plainly obvious that the Irish see an ally in those who shoot pregnant women waiting at bus stops.

Also, and you’re likely intentionally ignoring the fact that gazans overwhelmingly approve of Hamas attack on October 7, based on the polls released last week. So yet again you’re providing cover for terrorists. Seems like a theme with you. The claim that Palestinians aren’t Hamas or don’t support them is fading by the day. The mother fucking UNRWA teachers are holding hostages, to reinforce how deep the rot is. That’s not to say all gazans or Palestinians are Hamas, that’s clearly not the case. Far too many of them are though and far too many who aren’t will die because of their fellow gazans actions.
