To me it’s absurd how Microsoft gets beaten by a free desktop environment when windows is like their main product. They have billions of dollars. How do they manage to not do better?
Well known KDE developer Nate Graham is out with a blog post today outlining his latest Wayland thoughts, how X11 is a bad platform, and the recent topic of “Wayland breaking everything” isn’t really accurate....

Don’t misunderstand what a server means, however. Just because something is called a server doesn’t mean it’s not made for the desktop. It’s a technical term that doesn’t necessarily relate to networking, it might just relate to stuff like inter-process communication.
However, Wayland is designed for the desktop environment. It’s like the main reason why it replaces X11, which was designed for terminals.
Well, it’s not exactly an objective thing, but the most concise way I’ve heard it described is “plausible deniability”. It’s always just a joke until… it isn’t.
Flirting is mainly about showing interest but also always giving the other person a graceful out. It’s asking out without asking out, so nobody has to actively reject the other, but instead can just stop responding.
Who cares? Why does a comic need to be more complex than stick figures? Are you going to criticize xkcd, maybe one of the most beloved web comics, of drawing stick figures too?
Talk with your doctor about that, but typically that shouldn’t happen under normal conditions, though some people’s ear canals are narrower where that can occur more often. There are proper unclogging medications you can use for that.
If humanity survives into the future without regressing technologically, I think it’s very likely that humanity will expand into space. Yes, the earth is very habitable, but space is abundant in resources if we can get to them, as well as opening up a new world of manufacturing due to no space or gravity limitations. Possibly will be necessary for future research and science as well, as ever more demanding experiments will be desired.
Once space infrastructure gets really going, I think space will be a very natural environment to expand into. And that will also imply at least semi-permanent habitats.
