I desperately need a season of The Good Place, none of the dialogue or scenes changed, but the cast is swapped.

Michael - John DeLancie

Eleanor - Patrick Stewart

Chidi - Jonathan Frakes

Tahani - Marina Sirtis

Janet - LeVar Burton

Jason - Brent Spiner

Shawn - Gates McFadden

Judge - Michael Dorn

Glenn - Wil Wheaton

Hey I’m barely 30 and I do this lol I keep forgetting the notes app exists. That and my notes app doesn’t keep a reminder in the app tray like a message notification does

Robert Meyer Burnett, Nitpicking Nerd, and Red Letter Media.

…This is not the take you thing it is lol

Red Letter Media

Ah yes. The self proclaimed racists who use ragebaiting as their primary method of getting people to watch their videos.

Nitpicking Nerd

Ah yes. The dude who openly uses his cynicism in his username and who constantly uses ragebaiting as well to get people to watch his videos.

Robert Meyer Burnett

Fucking who?

Like I said. Unless you are providing examples then I’m simply not taking you seriously. Your dismissal of it entirely and refusal to even attempt to defend your position means you simply don’t have a valid one.

I like the shows but that has nothing to do with this conversation. My liking of the show isn’t the reason why I’m expecting an unbiased/critical review. It’s simply because I have standards. Doesn’t matter if it is for Star Trek, Star Wars, or some show i’ve never even heard of. Anyone who’s going to inject their own emotional opinion into a review, and then refusal to even elaborate on position while doubling down, is someone whose opinion is just not worth the time to read to it.

I just don’t own anything that has a radio built into it anymore. My phone does but needs wired headphones and while I have them I don’t use them anymore. That and I’m not going on the internet to suffer through a trillion shitty ads about some local car dealership.

Absolutely. Where you think I stole all my shit from?

I’ve been having fun sorting those. Got 'em all named and prepped for upload on Thursdays. Files marked correctly. Even planned out in a particular order to maximize the feeling of interconnectedness.

The people who made those are fucking geniuses. I am merely a hobbit standing on the backs of Titans.

That’s fair. My tastes in Trek run counter to what most peoples do. I’m not an ENORMOUS fan of the Kelvin movies, but I enjoy them for what they are and will turn 'em on occasionally. The two biggest things I look for? Simon Pegg and Anton Yelchin. Everytime. Kinda hard not to love them. Bruce Greenwood as Pike was pretty great too considering he had a lot of room to work with given (at the time) almost no development of that character.

I was talking with a friend a couple days ago about him and the fact that he has left a pretty huge mark on Trek. I also love how they’ve referenced him twice in Trek as well.

Season 3 of Discovery has that whole Burn thing going on. Burnham goes looking for the ‘black boxes’ of the various ships. One of the ones she gets, an important one, is called the USS Yelchin. Then Season 3 of Picard had their own honor that they gave him. In the final episode there’s a broadcast from the ‘President of the Federation’. It’s voiced by Walter Koenig, playing the son of his Chekov, but the name that they gave him? Anton Chekov.

Indeed taken from us far too soon.
