Man… that episode got me so hype. When they popped out there I immediately started shouting. I know that fucking alley. Recognizing all the outdoor stops was a trip and a half. Have I seen tons of movies with Toronto in it? Sure. Pretty sure I’m in a couple of 'em. But in STAR TREK?!

I didn’t hear it anywhere, its personal experience. Spotify straight up isn’t shuffling any of my older liked music. Everytime I hit shuffle it always ends up localized around recently saved music and it never changes. Moreover, that’s a blogpost from a decade ago. Spotify changes stuff constantly. I seriously doubt that is the same algorithm they’re using now. ESPECIALLY considering they’ve introduced ‘Smart Shuffle’ which doesn’t only shuffle music you have saved but adds completely new music into the mix as well. That and Spotifys overall quality control has dropped drastically in the past decade.

I was abused from when I was born to when I was early 20s by my family and then an abusive ex. I’ve been attacked for being gay and was disowned by my family for the same reason. I spent most of my 20s homeless and lost out on a lot of time due to realizing that no one really cares about other people, at least the majority doesn’t. Lost everything I have as well as everything I was. Have always been depressed and a mess and hoped things would get better. They haven’t. They’ve gotten steadily and gradually worse. At the most they plateau for a little bit. I’ve lost pretty much all the people I care about and I have no energy to really do anything anymore. I don’t want to die but I want to be dead. I am tired all of the time. While I know all of this is a drastic and pretty severe problem, I can’t do anything about it. I’m stuck on waiting lists to talk to people or get prescriptions, and that’s when I can afford them. I don’t see a purpose to really… do anything anymore. I have no drive. No motivation. No hope. No dreams. No aspirations. No anything. I am literally just waiting until I die and trying to enjoy the tiny amount of things that have been put in front of me. That’s when I can enjoy the things without someone chiming in to say how much the thing sucks, often people who I respect/admire/care about being the people who say it. Mostly because I don’t know how to make good decisions and often surround myself with people who hate me because it feels more comforting to have someone insult me than compliment me. As fucking psychotic as that is. So I just post memes and wile away my time until I die.

That’s mainly why.

But it is what it is. Such is life. Soldier on, keep going, carry on, yadda yadda.

Ohhhhh yeah. Pike is one gloriously attractive man. Yet he also has the confidence and heart to back it up. Picard was always my Captain, hell he was my first, but Pike walked up and just dropkicked Picard out of the chair. Strange New Worlds only elaborated on that. Amazingly good looking man while being a truly amazing man as well. He’s the whole package.

I seriously hope things start turning around for you soon, my friend. If I can call you that. I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this when you don’t deserve it. If you ever need someone to talk to or want someone to vent to, I’m here buddy. I’d hug but I don’t wanna hurt your arms further.

Also as for the spoiler (I can’t use the tags on my app for whatever reason) yes. That was an insane thing to do and no one liked it. However I cannot say anything about it without spoiling stuff for you. Just trust me when I say that things get better.

Oh totally. To be honest I thought Kirk was the first captain until the 2009 movie. That introduced me to the character of Pike (I somehow missed his TOS episodes) and my love was born.
