Omg I once accidentally kidnapped my neighbor’s cat for 3 days. My cat got out and this one looked exactly the same (only had my cat for a few weeks at that point. I couldn’t discern differences yet). I wondered why he kept meowing at the window.
I’m embarrassed it took 3 days to realize that wasn’t my cat. We let it out and I’m sure the real owners were relieved 😅😳🤡
“Dying human hair is totally fine. Why not pet hair?”
The logic is sound enough for most people. Learning that it is not like that isn’t taught in schools. Just because someone knows that doesn’t mean everyone does.
It sucks, but being critical of those that do things harmful like they are stupid for not knowing is not as effective as being kind and teaching that it is harmful.
We all have to learn everything we know. So do strangers.
It’s not even receding, just looking like it, which has been the case my entire life, which makes me feel ugly and masculine, especially if people comment on it, because I otherwise look cute, but my endless wisdom requires too much forehead planes, I suppose. 😩
but owning and properly maintaining a home requires a ton of work and money.
It doesn’t. Not at all.
Dude, there’s a plumbing problem. You call a plumber. Dialing that number and talking for 10 minutes was not hard work.
Even if you physically are doing the fixing, which would be in the ‘hard work’ category, you are not there 9-5, 5 days a week for most of the year.
Landlords even pay people to manage their properties. Now they only have one expense a month, the managers pay. With auto-pay from banks, now they don’t have to think about that. Zero work at all. They can sit on their ass while their bank account goes up. Their tenants working 40 hour weeks and much of their pay goes to this person that is not doing anything to help them. The property manager takes care of all that. He doesn’t have to contribute at all.
I agree. It was a totally different setting with a massive change in cast. But I liked it a lot. I forget most of it, but I remember looking forward to the blonde ‘dry serious/crying in the shower’ student. I liked her dynamic.
