I see the exact opposite. I’ve never seen it in a context other than shutting down a discussion before it can be had.

What a fascinating and insightful reply

NDAs are null and void for illegal activity

Black Friday (files.mastodon.online)

The second row, captioned Thursday, depicts the same. In the third row, captioned Black Friday, the there is a label with...

Nope, it’s illegal in the US. File a complaint with the FTC and they’ll look into it.

Oh man, the absolute horror of being told about new features! The absolute abject tragedy!

So being recommended videos is bad now? Dam

It’s more user friendly in a thousand minor ways, such as installing programs, which makes it much more user friendly overall. At least MacOS has a consistent UI that doesn’t massively change every single update

The redirect thing is definitely just Firefox being weird. It’s generally a basic redirect that triggers a return-to-app, and Firefox isn’t following the redirect properly

See the thing is I’m fine with it because I know my parents wouldn’t have spied on me 24/7. If they were helicopter parents and DID check where I was every hour of the day I wouldn’t be fine with it.

Stumblinbear,

Literally just don’t say that. The entire rest of your comments were generally “fine” but you included hostile, unnecessary wording.

You’re assuming barely anyone keeps up with what the minority of people decide isn’t okay to say anymore. Twitter isn’t the world. Lemmy isn’t the world. Reddit isn’t the world. There may be millions of users, but the average person doesn’t give a shit about any of these platforms.

You know you could just subscribe to remove them anyways right?

Ad based models aren’t great, but the alternative is subscription based. And we know exactly what the internet feels about that. Look at the amount of people here in this thread given that exact choice and refusing to pay
