Tetsuo, to memes in i poured water in the the garbage

For growth. You don’t water your garbage?

The Boeing planes are also very safe.

It’s the fault of the pilots for not understanding undocumented things and not having checked plug doors nuts before taking off !

In any case it definitely has nothing to do with corporate greed hindering safety. Definitely.

Tetsuo, to lemmyshitpost in fart silencer is quality shitpost

Or a poop dispenser? Or a silenced poop dispenser?

Tetsuo, (edited ) to piracy in GTA V source code has been leaked.

As far as I recall he actively seeks to commit cybercrimes and even says so himself.

It’s not the first young hacker on the spectrum that has urges to hack stuff.

It’s a whole different question when someone is conscious he is doing something illegal and actively seeks to do it.

This is not another Aaron Swartz story imo. It’s an autistic individual that doesn’t hack out of curiosity but in order to damage businesses, and people or benefit himself.

Tetsuo, (edited ) to linux in My First Regular Expressions

Good job !

I highly recommend trying out the various online regex editor.

These WISIWIG kind of editors are great because you immediately see what the regex is catching and for what reason.

I took the first one in my search results but try different ones.

regex101.com

Also I used GPT to get some regex for some specific strings and it can be helpful to get a quickstart at building a specific regex.

In that case I was building a regex for a specific log from postfix.

PS: just make sure to select the correct flavor of regex you are using in these online tools.

Edit: Also one of my favorite YT channels has pretty cool videos on RegEx : youtu.be/6gddK-cOxYc?si=0bnNkSDzifjdxwjU

Tetsuo, to memes in When you have a heart disease and will die alone and fat

I suppose he moderated him and now OP started his little crusade.

Creating accounts just to spew insults on Lemmy.

Really don’t have better to do on Christmas ?

Tetsuo, to memes in Google “search”

I use DDG and if the result is not what I’m looking for, I add !g to forward the query to Google.

80% of the times, I need to add !g because DDG is clueless.

I wish I could say otherwise but Google search results are still better overall than DDG.

Sure, for some specific thematics, DDG will do better. But that’s for quite niche subjects.

Very surprised to see people talk about DDG like it’s at the same level or better than Google.

Thanks !

Tetsuo, to lemmyshitpost in Lemmy, why are you wrong?

OP didn’t figure out a cure for cancer.

Tetsuo, to lemmyshitpost in Sad day there champ

Can someone explain the context ?

Is it related to the destitution inquiry recently opened ?

Tetsuo, to memes in Trig

I must be missing something in this comment.

Can someone tell me how chicken coops are related to that ?

Tetsuo, to lemmyshitpost in They're all dead now, I wonder who got the last laugh?

Didn’t know at all about Semmelweis. Very interesting… and sad.

Tetsuo, to piracy in questions about manual subtitles

I use the VLC subtitles download feature.

I think it goes to opensubtitles anyway but at least you don’t have to experience the website.

Tetsuo, to piracy in questions about manual subtitles

They also put literally download links towards malware…

Definitely in my list of unsafe websites.

Too bad it’s the reference for subs.

Tetsuo, to memes in History go brrrr

I understand that critic.

That being said, I really have never visited a country where race is mentioned as frequently as in the US.

In many European countries I have visited it just didn’t seem relevant.

Sometimes it’s not just a cliché or a prejudice against a nation, it’s just how it is.

I have no doubt at least that the peculiar history of the US has shaped the way racial discourse is prevalent or not in that society.

Would you agree that race is more commonly talked about in the US than in the rest of the world?

I think it’s pointless to ask on Lemmy for an accurate depiction of the importance of race in the american society. You may say it’s too reductive but I think it’s a more productive conversation than your comment. I would much rather have someone politely argue and explain that I’m wrong rather than calling my comment “almost pointless” and basically presenting it as some outlandish and prejudiced caricature of the US.

The “your comment is too reductive and therefore is pointless” could probably be applied to every posts in there. Just saying.
