Up untill Davel, every single user I got a reply from relating to stuff I said on that thread was either a Hexbear or Lemmygrad user and every user since Davel has been aswell.
Great tool but not cheap. Infact you probably couldn’t find a more expensive version. Knipex however is worth it. Generally my advice is to first buy a cheap tool and replace it with more expensive one after it breaks but with pliers it’s pay once, cry once situation. These are truly BIFL tools. The 100mm mini cobra pliers are awesome aswell.
YouTube updates their adblock detection script twice a day meaning you have to update the “quick fix” filter list twice a day aswell. There’s currently no permanent fix. It’s a cat and mouse game.
2007 Nissan Navara King Cab (like Frontier in the US but diesel)
It’s a two seat, 4x4, all black pickup truck. Other than the few mechanical issues with it, I have no complaints. It’s basically my dream car and I truly don’t even know if there’s any other truck I’d rather have. Even the newer model is a bit meh and comes with all sorts of electronics I don’t need.
I followed those instructions to the letter aswell as cleared all the cookies and I’m still getting the popup. I first came up with this code more than 3 months ago so it’s probably outdated by now.
I had this code saved and had suggested it to others before but now I didn’t take my own advice and had been struggling with those pop-ups for the past few days. I hope this solves it.
EDIT: Doesn’t work. Still got the popup despite having all other extensions disabled and uBlock on default settings
I mostly stock up on items I’m using anyways such as rice, beans, noodles, sugar, coffee, crackers, honey, peanut butter etc. and I’m constantly using the oldest packages from my stock and replacing them with fresh ones.
EMP would not affect devices that aren’t connected to the grid. Atleast I don’t think it would, and even if it did, there’s still plenty of older diesel powered machines that don’t need electricity to run such as some diesel heaters. If nothing else I could trade it for something more useful then.
Way longer than your average person but I’d start running out of supplies after few months too. I have food stocked up for few months, 90 litres of drinking water and a water filter, 120 litres of diesel plus what I have in the tank, enough fuel to run alchohol stove for few months aswell and I have a fireplace to keep myself warm basically indefinitely.
It’s kind of scary to think that even me whose somewhat of a prepper would run out of supplies quite quick. What does that mean for the average person who doesn’t even have a jug of water stored up.
Also, this is the kind of discussion that would fit well on !zombiesurvival
Watching youtube without ads is kind of like eating meat. I can’t morally justify my behavior, but I will keep doing it untill it becomes a real inconvenience. I can’t make a good faith argument about why youtube should serve me amazing video content for free.
When the sponsor is baked into the video itself, there’s no way for the advertiser to know how many of the people who watched the video, skipped past the sponsor. The only way they know wether their ads are working or not, is by seeing how many people used the discount code from said channel. If you’re the kind of person going thru the effort to install additional software on top of adblocker to get rid of this sponsored content aswell, I think it’s quite safe to assume you weren’t going to buy their product anyways.
Also if you’re still feeling bad about it, just donate few bucks directly to the content creator. That’s way more than they’re ever going to profit from you watching ads anyways.
