At some point my nightmares just turned into exciting adventures that can be scary but not horrifying. I kinda like those. I’d especially like to visit this abandoned factory again I once dreamt of but the dream ended with the building being demolished, and in the future dreams there’s only been the foundations left and apparently my autistic, logical mind doesn’t turn off even when I’m dreaming so ofcourse that building can’t just magically respawn for me.
My SO says I make noises indicating I’m not having a good time but I never wake up thinking I’m glad it’s over. I often dream about zombies or being at war but I like those dreams.
Well not really. Mostly people are just being mean and/or saying I’m wrong but no one is trying to change my mind. When I made the first post that got me banned I had just woken up and had only skimmed thru the news, but the more time passes and I look into it the more comfortable I feel with my original conclusion. At the moment it seems almost certain that it indeed was a malfuncioning Hamas rocket shot from Gaza strip and there’s plenty video evidence to back that up.
I’m not sure what that community would even be. I’m not interested about being surrounded by bunch of yes-men. I want my community to call me out on my bullsht because I’m going to do the same for them.
Up untill Davel, every single user I got a reply from relating to stuff I said on that thread was either a Hexbear or Lemmygrad user and every user since Davel has been aswell.
2007 Nissan Navara King Cab (like Frontier in the US but diesel)
It’s a two seat, 4x4, all black pickup truck. Other than the few mechanical issues with it, I have no complaints. It’s basically my dream car and I truly don’t even know if there’s any other truck I’d rather have. Even the newer model is a bit meh and comes with all sorts of electronics I don’t need.
Artificial intelligence might be really good, perhaps even superhuman at one thing, for example driving a car but that same competence doesn’t apply over variety of fields. Your self-driving car can’t help with your homework. With artificial general intelligence however, it does. Humans posses general intelligence; we can do math, speak different languages, know how to navigate social situations, know how to throw a ball, can interpret sights, sounds etc.
With a real AGI you don’t need to develop different versions of it for different purposes. It’s generally intelligent so it can do it all. This also includes writing its own code. This is where the worry about intelligence explosion origins from. Once it’s even slightly better than humans at writing its code it’ll make a more competent version of itself which will then create even more competent version and so on. It’s a chain reaction which we might not be able to stop. After all it’s by definition smarter than us and being a computer; also million times faster.
Edit: Another feature that AGI would most likely, though not neccessarily posses is consciousness. There’s a possibility that it feels like something to be generally intelligent.
I write all my expenses and incomes down onto app called Wallet by budget bakers. I don’t set any monthly budgets or anything however, because I find that keeping track alone already makes me much more mindful consumer. I already have records of my finances for almost 3 years so it’s pretty interesting to get to monitor my spending across a long timeframe.
