Unaware7013, to news in German journalists detained by Israeli soldiers: 'Asked if we were Jewish at gunpoint'

Man, the 20s are a weird time. A century ago, it would have been the Germans asking the Jews if they were Jewish at gunpoint, not the other way around. It's almost funny how "never again" is now just "again" now that Israel is taking charge...

Unaware7013, to memes in Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's not happening

Backbreaking is the best way to describe working construction. We did general framing/siding/roofing, and my body hurt every day after I was done. I went into IT specifically for the mental challenge, and because I saw how my uncle and grandfather's bodies were broken by a lifetime of construction and didn't want to deal with it for myself.

I'll gladly take learning new skills constantly over breaking my body.

Lmao, at least try to sound intelligent

Unaware7013, to memes in Communist Filth/Capitalist Filth

None? People don’t starve to death in western countries. And where they do the issue is lack of infrastructure.

"This thing doesn't happen, and when it does, it's not the fault of capitalism itself" is a monumentally stupid argument. Especially when talking about the homeless population, which absolutely does have people that starve.

A communist government couldn’t conjure the resources needed to build that out of thin air either.

And the capitalist economy chose not to build it because it wasn't profitable, or after it was built, it was too expensive to be used.

Fucking communist countries have killed how many millions of their own citizens?

Bruh, centuries of capitalist exploitation of its citizens and treating them like a disposable commodity would like to have a word on the whole 'citizens killed by their own country' topic.

How many thousands or millions of citizens die yearly because they can't afford to live in this fucked up system?

Me, mid-thirties and still jumping in the pit during the headliner: what?

Unaware7013, (edited ) to memes in I love concerts. I do not love standing room only.

Yeah, I'd much rather be on gen-ad and standing than sitting up in the bleachers, but for some concerts it's like 4x more for gen-ad over seated sections. Sucks, but I'd rather see the band sitting than pay that ridiculous mark up for it.

This type of content? You mean food preparation? What part of this is supposed to disgust me or make me want to stop eating meat?

Unaware7013, to news in ‘Children were carrying other injured children.’ Witness describes aftermath of Israeli strike on Gaza refugee camp | CNN

An Israeli strike targeting a Hamas commander in the densely populated Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza has left catastrophic damage and killed a large number of people, according to eyewitnesses and medics in the enclave.

Israel is a terrorist state, and they're so blood thirsty for Hamas commanders that they're bombing fucking refuge camps.

And they wonder what drives support for Hamas? Jk, no they don't. Israel knowsthey support Hamas because of Israel's actions, and Israel leans into it to give them excuses to marginalize and remove Palestinians from their land one way or another.

I don't support Hamas, but supporting Israel is unconcionable, and has been for years. But with so many things these days, the authorizations are going full mask off...

Unaware7013, to news in ‘Children were carrying other injured children.’ Witness describes aftermath of Israeli strike on Gaza refugee camp | CNN

Absolutely. Punishing the civilians they're hiding amongst us a literal war crime (collective punishment), and I refuse to support a state that's trying to ethnicly cleanse a neighboring state so they can steal land.

Also, a commander being there is a fucking weak excuse to bomb a fucking refugee camp. No matter what you think of the war, it should be unconscionable to target a camp of people who's lives you've already destroyed, but considering the end goal of Israel, I'm not surprised they'd stoop that low.

Unaware7013, to news in Expel all Palestinians from Gaza, recommends Israeli gov't ministry

While they're at it, let's have them make things while in the camps. Because after all, work makes you free, right?

Unaware7013, to news in Expel all Palestinians from Gaza, recommends Israeli gov't ministry

They're "de-nazifying" Palestine much the same way that Russia is "de-nazifying" Ukraine (ie - murdering tons of civilians with the express purpose of ethnic cleansing and area to steal land)

Unaware7013, to news in Armenia joins Russia's list of 25 countries where foreigners will be able to open accounts in Russian banks

Isn't this more bringing money into Russia? I wouldn't think putting money into a Russian bank would be an effective way to get money out of Russia...
