Unforeseen,

Yeah it’s a misconception, it’s the Dyson swarm that’s high maintenance

Unforeseen,

I would leave the carrot for a couple of days until it dehydrates and shrinks up, then just turn the wheel 180, should fall out.

PC died. Trying the legal options.

And fuck. I really miss plex. I’ve had Netflix and Hulu forever as family won’t let me cancel. Decided to sign up to Paramount + for some Trek. Twice in lower decks it didn’t save my watched episodes. Doesn’t mark episode as watched if you exit during the credits. And multiple playback issues....

Unforeseen,

Don’t count out the power supply, it can cause that issue as well.

Unforeseen,

My issue is that I no longer get updates for a over a year now, I’d be happy using it until it no longer works otherwise.

Unforeseen,

My phone is 4 years old and this sounds like a horror story to me. I have no idea what I’m going to do next.

Unforeseen,

And the fact they took the time to fix the autocorrect not capitalizing the words spelled out for BDSM. If you are angry it’s not happening.

Unforeseen,

Joplin is already mentioned but I’d point out it can import those 15k recipes. You do have to do a notebook at a time though (that took me a bit as I had over 300).

There are plugins for various functionality like OCR and hotfolders (auto import). I hear the webclipper isn’t great but I’ve never used it in my workflow in Evernote or Joplin.

I finally bailed after 13+ years of Evernote about a year ago to Joplin and am very happy overall.

Unforeseen,

I have never felt a picture encapsulate a moment I have lived like this one

Unforeseen,

There was a big uproar on reddit at the time, but like all things people get complacent and bored and don’t actually go through with anything they said they would do that would inconvenience them.

Unforeseen, (edited )

That is an absolute cannon.

I could just see it now, BOOM and the boat goes shooting into the lake ass backwards.

Unforeseen,

Hmm I have the AIX half of that. Maybe learning COBOL is worth the pain…

Unforeseen,

Some of the premium ones are self heating so you just can add bottled water

Unforeseen,

Correct because the connection to usenet these days is with SSL, so the ISP is in the dark of what is being transferred.

If you’d rather your ISP not know where you are connecting you can get SABnzbd dockers with VPN built in that will killswitch if the VPN drops.

I do the VPN anyway because that’s how I set it up years back, and I just like the layer of privacy.

What hobbies help you minimize or avoid navigating commercialism?

By commercialism, I’m aiming at a mix of spending a lot and sifting through bloated business models (e.g. this or that accessory/equipment, microtransactions, etc.). Feel like many can relate to this sort of commercial fatigue, and yet it creeps even into hobbies where one tries to unwind....

Unforeseen, (edited )

Not yet but apparently it’s coming. Unfortunately for now you have to save it and check back manually

Unforeseen,

I learned way more history from video games then I ever learned from school

Unforeseen,

Thunderbird is a Mozilla project tho?
