Technically, neither of the skills mentioned are necessary for the job of making unreasonable demands and berating workers for exercising their rights 🤷
Completely agreed on the first point, but unfortunately the latter isn’t always the case.
It’s become almost the norm for both individuals and companies to achieve ridiculous levels of success through abusive cunning in spite of a near-total lack of expertise and effort compared to competitors and coworkers.
I got into an argument in the main Technology community a couple weeks or so back and while I admit that it got too heated so that both of us broke the “be excellent to each other” rule, I still feel that an immediate 3-day ban with no warning or notification (I had to check the modlog to find out why I suddenly couldn’t comment there) in a group where I’d never broken the rules before was ridiculous.
Didn’t help any that the mod almost immediately unbanned the other guy who had been equally unexcellent during the exchange and initially got the same ban and left mine in place…
According to most lore, people become ghosts when they die having some major unfinished business. That’s something that most people (and ghosts) would consider regrettable. Also, ghost are mostly depicted as not bound by gravity.
Meanwhile, bird has done or otherwise experienced regrettable things and is a bird.
Didn’t you hear? They stopped the roof knocking policy they’ve been pretending makes them the good ones, dropping all pretense that they care about civilian lives any more than Hamas and Hezbollah do.
