VonReposti,

At least it boots faster than the gaming PC I had in 2010

VonReposti,

The equivalent would be that you pay a million for a Lambo which is just an indefinite license they can revoke at any time. Renting isn’t comparable at all.

VonReposti,

Yes, Jellyfin’s Kodi add-on sends watch info back to Jellyfin which keeps track of the watch history. Just remember to install the Kodi Sync Queue add-on in Jellyfin too.

VonReposti,

dba.dk is a pretty popular site for buying used stuff in Denmark, but for electronics I usually go on eBay and sort by EU only (IIRC they removed that option so now the results are tainted with lots of UK gear that’ll be hit with import taxes).

VonReposti,

That poor MF have been me a couple of times. I hate being interested in niche content sometimes… On the positive side, I have a strict no-delete policy on any public torrent with less than 5 in ratio or private torrents, so I carry forward the gesture so the previous seeder can take a break.

VonReposti,

The Scandinavians also have a taste for fermented seafood.

Excuse me, but that’s only the Swedes! We may have other weird eating habits in Denmark but surströmning ain’t one.

VonReposti,

That doesn’t count 'cause it’s delicious

VonReposti,

Aither is a good choice these days too. It may be harder to join without an invite right now, but the quality is worth it.

Are there any Lemmy instances that support all (or most) languages?

From what I got (correct me if I’m wrong) you can only see posts in the languages that are set in your profile but those depend on your instance’s languages. And it seems most instances don’t support multiple languages. Filtering in lemmyverse.net, the only instance that includes smaller languages seems to be feddit.dk but...

VonReposti,

I suggest mentioning that in your application. The admin isn’t strict, he just want to keep out trolls and bad actors. I can suggest sending this post through DeepL as the admin there discusses e.g. approval of applications. It might help you understand what is needed.

We do have one active Swede so Swedish is possible to see on feddit.dk

VonReposti,

I was about to say find a European instance due to the language culture here, but I see that you beat me to it :p

As long as you follow the instance’s rules it shouldn’t be a problem to sign up at e.g. feddit.dk. But it will help if you can tell what languages you are looking for.
