see employee salaries as anything but a line item to minimize
YES. With and without AI in the mix, anything to maximize benefits. Companies would have a full workforce formed by unpaid slaves if they could. Many companies get rid of their oldest and best paid employees to replace them with cheaper ones. Videogame studios fired employees right after a new game was finished just so they didn’t have to pay any benefits to the devs. We are nothing but a medium to make the top execs of a company richer.
In Spain you have to use a coin to detach a cart from the others.
Well, I have a homemade metal thingy than can release the cart without a coin AND I can pull the thing right back out so I don’t even have to leave it in the coin slot.
When I’m done I still leave the cart in the return area and attach it to the others. I don’t even leave it unattached for the next person, because some pieces of shit already leave carts around the parking lot somehow.
I’m a petty motherfucker and I wish the worst to those assholes.
I’ve recently completed Metro Exodus, DLCs included. I have most of the achievements, but it don’t feel like getting the remaining ones at the moment. Before that I completed all of the Halo games compatible with the XB360, on coop.
I feel lost. I don’t really know what to play now.
I went back to playing some Insurgency coop, but it wasn’t even too engaging before.
The most productive thing I used the free ChatGPT web was to expand a Python 3 script that I was using to run a custom ChatGPT with a Gradio web ui that worked with OpenAI’s API.
I learned quite a lot of Python from almost zero and improved the script to work with LangChain Tools, for instance with a custom recursive summarizer.
