I hate that I always compare Lemmy to Reddit, but Reddit used to have (not sure if they still do) guidelines called “Reddiquette” that included guidelines about upvoting and downvoting. Most indie games just don’t draw me in. They’re usually missing some major mechanic that ruins it for me. I also enjoy quality graphics, and in my experience, that’s the first thing to go with an indie developer.

That’s not to say I haven’t found some I enjoy (bastion, sea of stars, stardew valley), but most of the time they just don’t do it for me.
