Yes, but there's a disconnect between helping directly and helping indirectly. Listening is indirect help, passive help. It's helping simply by existing, which is antithetical to the above commenters train of logic.
I'm not saying you're wrong, or that it's not something that people should learn to do... but it's not always something you can solve by making that connection.
Because it makes his job harder. He hates having to work for his money. He just wants customers to put money directly in his bank account without ever having to work for it. Other storefronts? Cheating him out of sales. Other payment systems? Stealing his money. Other operating systems? Making his life hard by forcing him to accommodate for something different.
It's always seemed like such a weak take to just say Batman is a rich guy punching bad guys and nothing else.
He invests in infrastructure, supports the community, promotes people bettering themselves... it's just not nearly as exciting as battling a Joker who's sliced his own face off or a giant crocodile man or a guy who's theme is kites.
If you see no differences between the Ukrainian government, flawed as it has been, and the Russian government under Putin... you may need to look a little deeper.
