The verified feature on flathub is a double edged sword, it makes me lean towards verified apps, even if the alternative is better and made by the original Dev ( but they just didn’t verify themselves )
I tried it earlier today, I disabled YT and I’m using it only for Odysee, and to watch FUTO talks on Peertube, Odysee official app is garbage ( like pay to customize the side menu, seriously ? ), and their website is filled with trackers and JS bloat ( sad that librarian got discontinued ), and Peertube situation isn’t any better, no app at all…
Grayjay let’s me use both websites without their drawbacks… Awesome project and I will donate whenever I can
In the end, choosing which project to use can be difficult just because of politics between the communities of these projects, saying a certain project is unsecure can get people using that project defensive, so keep that in mind
