afraid_of_zombies,

Ok guys who told them? Fess up.

afraid_of_zombies,

There would also be another branch that claims to be a superset and thus better. Looking at you Biology, being all smug over zoology and botany.

afraid_of_zombies,

Why does God need a LOS?

afraid_of_zombies,

There does seem to be an effort made to get rid of her by the early church followers. Implying that she was a whore could have been a strategy. It’s weird because the Johannine community tried to save her in text. Which would mean it was the Paul crowd that did it and there is not a clear reason why. She would have had little interactions with the Paul community.

afraid_of_zombies,

You are allowed to pass them even if there is a double yellow.

afraid_of_zombies,

Reporting facts is up-playing. Very well. Disneyfy it

afraid_of_zombies,

Show me one.

afraid_of_zombies,

Noted. The very next time I see someone bring up something that happened decades ago I will be sure to see you comment on that.

afraid_of_zombies,

I listed an example not all examples.

afraid_of_zombies,

And the teamsters I have dealt with the pass few years are maga types.

afraid_of_zombies,

Don’t need your permission and I have not.

afraid_of_zombies,

Did it happen yes or no?

afraid_of_zombies,

Gotcha data doesn’t matter.

afraid_of_zombies,

And seriously harmed children by bringing them into a workplace that he knew was not safe.

It should bother any decent person what he did. If they really did suffer from animal attacks he could have provided them with weapons. Hell, I am reasonable. He could have sold them guns and made a profit. “Ok peeps, work in my factory and I will pay you. You can use that money to buy stuff that will kill those animals”

afraid_of_zombies,

Given the choice of living like that burdening my family or not I would choose death.

afraid_of_zombies,

How does that make sense? People back then had a kid in their teens.

afraid_of_zombies,

You do have a point. My wife has a patient who is 95 and the fact that she can walk to the store, buy eggs, bring them home, and cook them is very impressive.

afraid_of_zombies,

You can really help a household by doing very little. Even if all you are capable of is cleaning the table once a day that is just one more thing no one else has to do. My youngest child can now finally put her own clothing away if I put it in her room. Which saves me about 30 minutes or so a week. Basically yes you are right. Joe doesn’t have to be pulling a plow but if he can do literally anything, which he can, he can help.

So fuck him and fuck the transformative power of dreams bullshit

afraid_of_zombies,

Nah I understood your humor. I just find the whole situation amusing. We have less evidence of this guy than any other person whose name we can list the passed 2,500 years or so. Heck we even have a contemporary physical record of Alexander the Great.

So much effort has been spent on trying to find him and we are in the exact same position we are in when old Albert started it a 100 years ago. All these digs, all this text analysis, all these counter arguments and yet we got nothing.

The greatest grift in human history. We got atheist scholars who reject 99% of the story but clutch for dear life the remaining 1% unwilling to just rip the band-aid off and admit that they have been had.

afraid_of_zombies,

Fine answer me this. Given what we know about the book. That the author lied when it suited narrative flow, that he copied off the OT, that he was trying to tell Jesus in the image of Paul, and that he was trying to downplay the 12+Cephus+James…given all this tell me how you objectively determine which parts are from the oral tradition (that we can’t prove existed at all or that it was accurate) and which are not?
