I also have found the discussions more mature, usually, even in some cases where the other person is to my right or left on the political spectrum (I am in the progressive / social democrat range). Of course there are always some that post in bad faith but it seems like the ratio of those to others is lower here, thankfully.

I tend to think the social angle is more credible Because the behavior of being a dick to female-sounding voices in games is not a universal behavior. Those who aren’t misogynists don’t act that way. How strange.

Man, some people aged quickly back then.

Saw the same thing watching a show from the early 70s. Most of the actors that were in their 50s looked absolutely wrecked. Like 50 going on 90.

Makes me feel better about myself, though lol.

Guessing it was a combination of smoking, lead exposure, air pollution, and not much sunscreen.

I should probably re-watch Event Horizon. I am not big into gore and I fucking hated it back when.

But perspectives change (mine by a lot) something tells me I might sing a different tune.

Everybody keeps praising it on here.

Also Sam Neill is always amazing in my book. And of course Lawrence Fishburne too.
