That’s funny since you can change the tip at any time even after the delivery. Plus doesn’t it go against the whole concept of a tip to decide how much to pay before services are rendered?
The point remains, all Sponsorblock does is skip the video ahead. Something most rational people do anyway even without the extension. And creators to my knowledge don’t get paid based on the number of views their sponsored sections get.
Obsidian is my fav. It’s not FOSS but it uses a flat folder of plain markdown files so it’s very portable and open.
Notion is decent as well but smells like at some point it will enshittify. If you are okay with the pain of jumping platforms eventually you could give it a shot.
Joplin is FOSS and I’ve heard good things about it but idk where it stacks up against the other two.
I did it one year on Reddit and got a really cool bottle opener. It arrived in a package with Danish/Greenlandic postage and the handle of the bottle opener appears to be made of whalebone carved in some sort of Inuit style.
