can,

I guess they think torrent = tor?

can,

There’s plenty now.

can,

Well, too late for me I guess. Think I should add a warning?

can,

There’s a small chance you’ll get a letter with no follow-up.

can,

What happened to all the comments?

can,

That was me asking actually. I saw someone upvoted the question but I can’t see anything. Weird

can,

I can’t remember what it was exactly but check out the comments on any post of this guys app and you’ll get the gist.

can, (edited )

They did. They explained that, then later deleted the explanation too

can,

Don’t worry, just focus on what you missed before and you’ll catch the next one

can,

Now that everything’s a subscription I can’t really argue with that.

can,

Like music streaming services figured out years ago.

I had no idea that you could download movies from the 90ies from archive.org (jeena.net)

I couldn’t find the Flintstones movie from 1994 anywhere but googling it I found it here archive.org/details/the-flintstones_202304 and you can either download it via torrent or directly. On top of it it says that the movie is CC0 which means Public Domain. But that can’t really be, it’s only 29 years old....

can,

Warms my heart to see that site still relevant after probably twenty years.

communities: trouble with blocking users making posts you can't see?

How do you block a lemmy account from your community, when they’re on an instance your mod account can’t see??? There’s someone spamming my community from k.bin, but the posts aren’t showing up on sh.itjust.works so I’m not sure how to delete the posts or even block the account. Can someone help please?

can,

Is the mod on an instance that’s defederated from sh.itjust.works? If so maybe they need a mod or alt account on another instance?

can,

Kbin has had some moderation federation issues. Ernest has recently delved into some personal issues he’s been having and the community had made a fork called mbin.

can,

Glad I could help. He’s been pretty clearly going through some heavy stuff so definitely don’t take it personally.

can,
  1. I think that happens if they’re commenting from a microblogging service, not a lemmy account.
can,

That never stopped me
