cheese_greater,

The problem is they constantly delete their comments and I don’t have to prove anything. This post is more of a PSA to help people recognize what is happening and how to terminate it

ok

What do you think is the deal with this instance?

cheese_greater, (edited )

Ok

I get that but this person was not answering any real thing, they were mercilessly interrogating on non-isuses like [paraphrased] “I noticed you took down something that even had a SPELLING ERROR?!?”, a lot about the occasionally mispelled word or some other mechanical issue to the detriment of any of the substantive matters in the comments

Almost all of it or a great deal of itwas Removed by moderator(s). I bet he’ll take me to task for screwing up the removed quotation if thats not the verbatim

cheese_greater,

Deleted by wildginger (saved by me ;)

oh my god, did you make a whole post to vague blog about me?

Thats actually genuinely very adorable

For the passers by, Im a “sea lion” because I dont agree with cheese’s belief that the apollo dev is obligated to make their work open source.

And, I guess, they dont like how much I swear? Didnt think a few fucks was a big deal between adults, guess I was wrong? I dunno, this is hilarious harassment tho

Ok

Its ubiquitous enough to be in the dictionary XD. Hopefully moderators of the sea like sharks and shit take care of them but sometimes its too late

cheese_greater, (edited )

Did you see their response I salvaged? They deleted it like lots of their other comments that arenmt otherwise removed by moderator because its unhinged

cheese_greater, (edited )

Ok

cheese_greater,

This is also a misrepresentation of my position. My position is basically that I get Christian was upset about Voyager (based on his terse comments on the subject) but that Voyager was perfectly acceptable use and even if thats not 100% accurate, the genie’s out of the bottle and I felt the gatekeeping was a little strange.

Like people were arguing as if they were the judge of the never-gonna-happen lawsuit Christian should seemingly file and ruling that he was gonna have to put a pin in Voyager.

I react strongly to people acting like Voyager needs and should need their go-ahead before it proceeded to build the app.

cheese_greater,

One would hope but nobody ever said life was fair. I was fortunate she knew she couldn’t directly murder us or the child support cheques would stop flowing but I felt like she was definitely caveating or hedging her bets. $10k in hand is better than in the bush

cheese_greater,

Def not this aha. Thanks tho

cheese_greater,

Can someone page a Lemmy.world admin to clarify?

Facebook Watches Teens Online As They Prep for College – The Markup (themarkup.org)

“After signing into their ACT account, if a student accepted cookies on the following page, Facebook received details on almost everything they clicked on—including scrambled but identifiable data like their first and last name, and whether they’re registering for the ACT. The site even registered clicks about a...

I don’t mean create anything, I’m advocating a particular usecase that could help Lemmy ease its moderation struggles by crowd-sourcing the curation.

We’re reading things and going through the discussion anyway, why not pick up some digital litter while we can. All it takes is a facile little swipe

cheese_greater,

So, to update, I notice when shes laying sprawled out on a blanket on my lap she has an almost permanent slight tensing contraction on the breath in. Like a fish’s gills or like its very rapid/jerky on the in-breath, I think

cheese_greater,

Boooo! Aha

cheese_greater,

You might need to buy it

cheese_greater,

You should put it at the very top/start of the post. Like people should immediately see on the first line your disclaimer

cheese_greater,

You should at least keep that at the very beginning (like the first thing people see so they notice and take it into account)

I wanna say memetic and—I can’t seem to find the corresponding term memesis, although I wonder if it just reduces down to mimesis which I discussed earlier…

The problem is: mimetic and memetic seem to be distinct to rhe extent that mimetic ≠ memetic, per se
