cheese_greater,

God I hope its some dum shit like this (her eating random nonsense)

cheese_greater,

But what if its like often in a day?

cheese_greater, (edited )

Ya that blog post was hard-R. I love I can smell the bs immediately. I like to pretend Milton from Office Space was the narrator/reader…

Edit: i do that all the time with bitchy, whiny bullcrap (like Family Guy said of Coldplay)

cheese_greater,

Now now, thats sweeping?!

cheese_greater,

memetic

cheese_greater,

Thats funny someone said it, i almost wanted to include that with my mimetic/mime thing but i wondered if memetic, too, likes to be an existent concept

Edit: DING! DING! DING!

Memetic

cheese_greater, (edited )

I simply meant mirroring is more episodic/acute as opposed to someone changing and adopting that change either in perpetuity or for something a bit longer term

Edit: but now I think about it, my examples were more like that whereas the larger idea I was reaching for was that of whatever the root concept of memetic is

Edit: also funny cuz I use and love Memmy!

cheese_greater,

That seems a lil performative tho. Im talking about like “this was yours but I want it to and irs me too now”

cheese_greater, (edited )

memetic

Edit: this is the answer I was seeking, genius downvoter…this place sometimes, [snort]

cheese_greater, (edited )

memetic

cheese_greater,

I wish you would all provide proper citations for your hooligan memes =)

cheese_greater, (edited )

beats me

Nice ;)

Edit: Can’t keep up with u rascals

cheese_greater, (edited )

So, Ordered?

Edit: I, too, enjoy legal puns

cheese_greater,

Ok but wats the hentai guy going on about?

What's the name of the belief that gods/entities are quasi-semtient memes (the linguistic term, not the cultural term) in the same manner that corporations and governments are considered people?

It’s a personal philosophy that I’ve come to use as my own form of religion, and while I’m aware other people have researched the idea, I’m having some trouble finding the name for the concept.

cheese_greater,

So like idealized forms sort of? Like that which we could be be aren’t?

cheese_greater, (edited )

Dolar store

Edit: Spyro

Low effort posts

Ask Lemmy is a place to ask thought provoking questions. The mods have been lenient with some of the recent posts on the basis that they must provoke thought for some people, but after seeing two posts essentially saying “what do you think of my stick?”, I believe we can raise the bar a bit on what kind of thoughts we want...

cheese_greater,

Authenticity is becoming more and more vital in my view. Not like me being an asshole cuz it comes to me more honestly, but being able to get to the good stuff and find space for the “bad/unwanted” space to come in from the cold

cheese_greater, (edited )

Thanks yo❤️ guyz, legit don’t know many I can share with like this, however obliquely

cheese_greater,

Don’t worry, I have a context totally by accident that came up and allowed me to shae my truth and have faith I will not be rejected

I mean on the Israeli side but I feel like that applies equally to Hamas, if that makes sense. What’s that corrollary expression about opposites attract (similars repel)…

cheese_greater, (edited )

Its always about the documents. Its weird how , as a child, I couldn’t have given a shit about documents if my life depended on them and now like my life depends on them!

Edit: documents is a funny word. Documents Documents Documents. Say documents 500x fast!

cheese_greater,

What do you think should be done with consideration to RealPolitiks™️

So they have no understanding of the notion of there being a larger “God’s plan” that they’re not just always wholsale pulling out of their asses?

If Israel offered wat “they” wanted, could they ever practically accept it.

I know it sounds absurd but I was beyond fucked up when I learned that the Taliban is like a far more mundanely violent version of The Office. I swear to Allah, the piece lamented that their lives were boring and bureaucratic and they hated the responsibility that comes with being the G’s earthly enforcer/coordinator but the sense I got was that they had to glumly accept it. This is what they fought for !/s
