Honestly English has a lot of little things that I don’t like about English but I can only imagine how you make the distinction between “Prinsesse pult i vinkel” and “prinsessepult i vinkel” when speaking and does that phenomenon effect other speaking situations at least with my home state our accent involves giving up on pronunciation halfway through the word so you can just listen for when centince has definition and transitions to mumbling to hear when one word ends and the other starts
Disney is raking its customers over the coals with a 75% price hike for their annual subscription (originally $80.) People wonder why piracy is on the rise.Multiple commenters are saying I’m off base about the 75% price increase. My payment less than a year ago was $79.99. Here’s the proof.
Honestly till death of auther I can at least understand as many creators like to make characters a part of their identity and after death they are dead how are they going to profit from the ip and what about the fans who I’m most cases can no longer enjoy new content and after saying all of that I probably only think that because of the ip culture created by the legal environment created by Disney
Honestly considering where we are 40 years would probably be a good transition on the way to 20 considering how much corporations today like their 80s ips so making everything made before the 80s public domain could allow a actual proposal like this to not get shot down by corporations like Disney you do bring up a good point with the perverse incentive
Last time, I used: “Anybody need anything while I’m out?” and that went over well. May not make it through this surgery on Friday, so I turn to Lemmy for top-notch suggestions for my potential last words!
Same case here with wisdom tooth removal but I do vaguely remember my entire body becoming numb before it stopped being numb instantly and the surgery was over
Yea the only reason they haven’t attacked the UK or the us is because they are ether worried that they might actually be able to fight back or they just haven’t gotten around to it yet

None of my cats follow me from room to room but they all do follow me when I’m outside it’s honestly pretty nice until they start hanging out exactly where I’m throwing firewood honestly thank goodness they fear chainsaws and me telling them to move it
Vines in my opinion are great dicore maybe that’s because I’m a sucker for abandoned building vibes idk what it is that makes me love looking at abandoned buildings it’s one of the reasons I love portal 2’s abandoned sci Fi look if I wasn’t for the high heights and turrets I would love to explore abandoned apeture
Realized that with my new job I’m at $500/month for gas. Starting to seriously consider a hybrid or electric but damn they expensive. Either way might just need something more reliable than my 320k+ car....
I drive a 2000 bmw z3 dispute it being a bmw it’s been quite bullet proof oil changes are a brease you can replace the rear windshield by unzipping a zipper my only complaint is how it occasionally breaks the laws of physics like how it smashed into a giant boulder and only broke off a single reflector and the airbag indicator light works even when there’s no bulb or any light source of any kind the oil separator somehow got water in it and didn’t effect the rest of the engine in any way ultimately it takes a lot to make something go wrong in this car and when they do fixing it will make you question if we are living in a very laggy simulation I’m honestly surprised I haven’t lagged into the backrooms in this car yet
You see YouTube is a American company and in America every thing is extreme you ether have a lot of ads or no ads you can have a extremely massive car or a cat that’s soo small it doesn’t exist
Honestly I’m starting to wonder if the reason why we got ourselves into a ad filled hell hole is because we expect soo much to be free and those things have to make money somehow and server space and the electricity they run on aren’t free and the only people willing to spend money are whales and advertisers and from what I’ve been told YouTube was never profitable on it’s own for Google and the only reason they’ve been keeping the site on is because it brings attention to other Google services while also preventing competition so I greatly think we’d all benefit from being open to paying for sites that are like YouTube so YouTube and advertisers have some real competitors I don’t know how a my theoreticall site would profit without ads but it’s still sad that sites like YouTube are expensive and unprofitable making it so Google is the only option solely because they can afford the loses making yt premium even more greedy
