Remember when they had all 3 channels firing on all cylinders? Vsauce for mind blowing science videos, Vsauce2 for awesome shorter format wtf internet widget videos, and Vsauce3 for gaming science stuff. One of the best eras of YT.
He’s not an organic tech reviewer. All of his devices are sponsored. He exists in a completely different world than the vast majority of his audience. Money is not an object for him and he promotes always having day 1 tech. He essentially shills for whomever is giving him today’s device to review and he’s been very pro-Apple in his editorializing.
Just so contrived. Even before the harassment allegations, their videos just seemed so corporate. That’s the Conde Nast influence, but it makes for such milquetoast content.
idubbbz is finished. He went too far and now he can’t salvage what made his channel so great. Wayyyyy too obsessed with drama and not his own thing. Youtube is a different place now. He should go back to doing bad unboxing videos.
Also Funhaus. They used to be funny, then the shtick got old, then they all started making announcements they were leaving Funhaus for greener pastures…and now they’re all back at Funhaus doing the same old thing. Ehhhhh.
At this point, how many different ways can you build a PC then benchmark it, all the while shitting on top tier equipment like it’s for brokeasses? You made a server and put the highest capacity drives in it you could afford? Cool bro.
I can’t even follow the logic most of the time. It pre-assumes you’ve dug as deeply into the movie as they have and have already moved past surface level continuity errors. Also, it got cringey any time they’d remove points for “hot chick moment” or “liking this scene humanizes our channel”.
H3H3. As soon as they got notoriety for their defamation lawsuit against the cringe pickup artist guy, they abandoned making reaction videos and instead became a trashy podcast.
I’m not sure leftists are concerning themselves with bad faith “all men are scum” debates. Attention seekers and rage baiters on the internet may style themselves as socially and ethically conscious (which is funny that that gets its own discrete political ideology…huh) but no true leftist seeks to divide the working class along sex/gender lines. It’s definitely not a top 10 talking point of leftist politics.
