I’m so glad they’re getting the attention they deserve. When Q turned me into a turkey sandwich, I was no longer able to work. They helped me get the settlement I deserved from the Federation, who knew that running into Q was a possibility, and did not disclose that risk to me.

You show me an identical situation where the gender roles are flipped, and I’ll have an opinion on it.

For the record, I think Jenny was extremely gross for what she did (I’m uniquely qualified to comment on this) but the entire point of the story is that it’s nuanced and complex. And far more nuanced and complex than "every time someone says a girl is a sympathetic character, I have to change the entire discussion to but men!"

When did you start seeing weight loss? I’m on Wegovy and still titrating and I’m underwhelmed by the results big time.

Thanks very much for this reply. I’ve been seeing a dietician whose advise is that I’ve been eating too little to lose weight and that feels absolutely stupid.

I’ll admit since I increased my intake I’ve been feeling better, and I haven’t gained any weight, but I’m impatient. I wish I could just stop eating and lose it that way…

Knowing that I had lost my sense of taste from covid, I reviewed the things I could do that not having a sense of taste might benefit from, and I asked my boyfriend (who I’m aware has a mild watersports fetish) if he’d like to take advantage of my lack of sense of taste…

And he did.

And later that night, shortly after our experiment, my sense of taste came back! I don’t know if it’s a revolutionary treatment for Covid, but if you’re desperate…

Hillbillies are generally a specific type of non urban. Here in Appalachia we refer to them as off the mountain. You don’t just run into hillbillies. You have to go where they go.

The rest of us are rednecks. I don’t think redneck is “everyone south and rural” but it’s pretty close.
