I guess what I mean is if you asked them with regard to the etymology… Ratchet is a word. It has a meaning highly disparate from “shitty.” Like, it’s a tool. A noun. It does things.
So kids using this word against its actual meaning, ask them why and they won’t understand.
Like if I asked you why you were using the word ratchet (say yesterday), which is a tool that helps turn bolts, in place of the word “shitty” and you’d be all 🤷♂️🤷♂️
No. My source is basic arithmetic. The math just simply doesn’t check out. Banking isn’t rocket science.
A 200K home mortgage is roughly 2000/mo mortgage. It’s not doable for median household income if about 75k, or about $4200/month after taxes, while grocery prices inflate over 10% year in end, and the median house price is like 380k right now. The math doesn’t check out.
It is, though. People are buying homes who cannot afford them all over the US right now. It’s not as though home buying has ceased with the interest rates.
You should aim to barely be reacting. Focus on your breathing to distract your whole nervous system from the feeling of discomfort the cold water brings.
You’re training your body to not react to adverse events. To roadblocks, to shitty situations, to things that might otherwise derail you.
