fosforus,

I was feeling the last part had some more story behind it so I went ahead and found this:

Seems like I’m a full-blown woke communist too

fosforus,

I thought there was definite leftness there, I feel like it was perhaps more moderate, balanced, and based on facts. But perhaps I just grew up.

Who is miss is Oliver. Abigail is nice, but I identified with Oliver in a lot of ways.

Yeah, I suppose this happened to me as well. She’s a good actor.

fosforus, (edited )

Well, people don’t of course all grow to the same direction.

I think we old people (in 40+s) generally appreciate when young people passionately achieve something, even if it doesn’t exactly align with our own values.

She can do that, it is 100% her right, and I can understand a celebratory phase. But to me, personally, that quickly becomes uninteresting.

It’s all fine. I can do something else and I’m sure she’ll survive without my ad-blocked views.

Philosophy Tube. After she transitioned, she’s pretty much talked about nothing except trans issues and went more blatantly to the left.

fosforus, (edited )

all it does is expose a huge double standard

No, a simple unistandard. I’ll illustrate with a meme.

No good guys fighting there ATM.

IDF are the good guys, just like the Ukrainian army is. That doesn’t mean that every single individual in either army are angels or that every operation is virtuous, just that their overall intentions are just.

An important question: What would the world look like if these guys won versus if they lost?

fosforus,

Perhaps majority of the people who hate my comments about Israel vs Hamas have already blocked me

fosforus, (edited )

Ends are more important.

fosforus, (edited )

Oh, I didn’t realize you asked “do ends always justify the means?”. My mistake.

fosforus,

Yep, it’s obvious that that’s how many people here see all their problems.

fosforus, (edited )

As someone who’s still at season 2, good to hear that it keeps being great instead of becoming what sitcoms usually become.

fosforus,

the God is the same for all of them

Entirely fictional.

As an 80s kid, before I learned a few things about how the world works, fear was very much one of the top feelings I got when near guys I knew were gay. Perhaps you youngsters got to skip that phase.

I never translated that to hate, though. I don’t exactly understand how that process even works. I’ve hated a few individual people in my life (100% because of what they did to me), and I feared none of them.

fosforus,

Time to cash in on that sweet sweet nostalgia again.

fosforus, (edited )

Your comment suggests that you are completely immoral and thoroughly evil. Please stop talking to me as long as those two things are true.

fosforus, (edited )

They could have used the several hundreds of millions of eurodollars of donations on building those things instead of building weapons of war. But they chose not to. There’s no reason to feel sympathy for somebody who destroys their own opportunities like that.

fosforus, (edited )

Children don’t generally take responsibility of anything: adults do.

fosforus, (edited )

This should remove any doubt whether Palestinians are aligned with Hamas. They are not that innocent.

fosforus,

The Left is right. This doesn’t make sense.
