glimse,

Hyundai

Get the fuck outta here putting them in the good category. They got rid of immobilizers which led to thousands and thousands of cars getting stolen - mine included. Then when my car was recovered, the repairs took 5 weeks and they told me to pound sand when I brought up how the remote start THEY installed when I bought it didn’t work anymore.

You should really include your reasons instead of waiting for people to ask. I just reread your list and it seems extremely arbitrary

glimse,

Rule of thumb is to add an apostrophe at the end of a word ending in S, otherwise add 's. I imagine this is only because the extra S sound gets cut off when you sleak

My biggest apostrophe pet peeve isn’t a fault of the language but with the misuse when pluralizing acronyms and years.

It’s not the ABC’s, it’s the ABCs. It’s not the 1970’s, it’s the 1970s. You don’t need apostrophes to pluralize.

glimse,

“imagine how Republicans would act…”

Yeah you’re right that picture definitely isn’t political lol

I’m sure we both agree with the message but…pretending it’s not political is foolish

glimse,

Yet… You attached a Facebook political meme…

glimse,

To learn to play the hurdy-gurdy, you must also learn how to repair the hurdy-gurdy

glimse,

They’re very cool but reading about the maintenance scared me away lol

glimse,

You’re way ahead of most people learning guitar even if none of those instruments are fretted. Give it a go, I’ll bet you’d surprise yourself with how capable you are after a couple of days!

glimse,

So yeah I think he’s a food role model.

I love their new ramen show, Critical Bowl

glimse,

Me, too. I don’t even play DND but I’d follow anything Matt Mercer works on. He’s a peach!

glimse,

I’ve been thinking about getting a Nebula subscription for awhile now. Most of the channels I subscribe to are on there so I’d feel good paying to support them. And Practical Engineering’s new (now finished) series was so good, I want to see more stuff like that instead of hoping the YouTube algorithm suggests something worth watching

glimse,

Most people don’t train their dogs but it’s not a new trend. I’d wager that the last time you could rightly say “most people train their dogs” was in the first couple decades of domestication

glimse,

I really like the solid color, the rainbow, and the checkerboard. The ones with the lines/patterns are somehow significantly worse to me

glimse,

Sublems is such a better word than community in my opinion. “Coms” doesn’t feel right as an abbreviation

glimse,

Someone just replied to a different comment of mine using “literally” incorrectly hahaha

glimse,

The new one that bugs me is saying “actually” and “genuinely” before every fuckin statement. Those (a long with “not gonna lie”) make me think I shouldn’t trust anything you say unless you clarify you’re being sincere first

glimse,

Shit I forgot about that one.

glimse,

Missed opportunity :(

glimse,

All the comments disappearing bugs me. You can be having a good exchange with someone then suddenly it’s all gone.

glimse,

Doesn’t even have to be a mod. If someone deleted their post, all comments are gone, too.

glimse,

I don’t think I get it

glimse,

One of the ways of dealing with illusion magic is by disbelieving it, so a simply paranoid party could get advantage to dispelling illusions by saying they don’t believe what they they see, in theory.

Thank you, that explains a lot. I haven’t played DND yet and I definitely don’t know the history of it like that!
