Is there a word for a third/fourth wheel friend? You know, the one that always walks behind, the one that sits next to their two or four best friends in class, but just far enough so that the conversation either doesn’t concern them, or they don’t hear enough to contribute to it. Is that even common? Or is it just me?

No no, I speak a combination of the three. Although American English dominates my accent. That’s what you get when you grow up watching English-speaking media. You pick up their accents and you make one of your own.
As a fellow Vietnamese, I would like to recommend a used Pixel. 6th gen Pixels are pretty cheap right now. Last I checked a used 6 Pro used was around 7m VND. They have flagship hardware and 3 years of updates left. And they’re open to custom ROMs unlike Samsung or Xiaomi. Honestly can’t beat them for the price.
