But you know, some war criminals even from as far back as WWII were tried and convicted this century. Even though they got away with it for decades, it caught up with them in the end.
@SamXavia I think this is something about the fediverse though - in the old, centralised media we were often relatively passively consuming content spoonfed to us by alorithms. Here in the fediverse, it pays to be more active in building and finding content.
It's a bit of an adjustment in mindset and we're all in various stages of that.
Basically it means "we really wish we could stop this embargo but we acknowledge that none of us can physically stand up to the US, so we won't attempt to make it illegal for any of us to obey the US".
@FaulerFuffi assuming that's a genuine question there are a bunch of reasons and one is they don't want to open themselves up to being attacked by Israel.
