My wife saw this and literally laughed. It’s so true. Pixar love those thick hips and tiny waists.

Dark business. Why are the Brits so happy to just sit back and let this happen.

What is that all about? Geo fencing privacy enhancements?

Are they trying to keep Google happy or something.

How is the piracy experience on an iPad ?

So I am planning on buying an ipad, never owned one before. I have always been an android guy and from what I have heard Ipad os or ios is pretty restrictive in nature so I was wondering how much does it hamper the piracy experience. For example on android I can torrent files of any nature or size without any restrictions and...

I’d say if you want to sail the high seas keep away from ipads. They’re so locked down it’s crazy. But, others may know more. Will be interesting to see other’s feedback.

You’re correct. There needs to be a balance. What if someone starts posting say sleazy creep photos of ladies etc? What then? You can’t leave it there. The poor ladies are being sexually assaulted in a way. That content has to come down, and fast. Self hosting is the way to go. You can then have the freedom, and face the responsibility.

Exactly. I feel they want to sell it to a big player, but no big player will touch it unless they can fully control it. Hence snap as part of that plan. Ubuntu is a hell no for me.

They want to harvest the data, without Google’s control, and give none to Google.

My understanding is it’s 13 years or so of requests, and still nothing. Something so incredibly basic, and required.

Dash to dock. I just have to. I put it on the left Ubuntu style and I’m happy

I, just 10 minutes ago, was looking for an artwork of mine to upload here on lemmy. I gave up. It’s beyond insane to not have a thumb nail option in the browser for a file upload.

I have 4 accounts and it works as it should. Lots of options. It’s a complete mail system

IKR. Why are we even covering news about audacity releases anymore?

I agree completely. If the horses are bred for meat, humanely, and all is done to high standards, then why is this different to cows, goats, sheep, etc?

As this is not OP posting, it is in fact the O OP. I agree, sounds weird, but what it is.

I’m the opposite. No drivers required in Linux for me. Printer just worked. Wacom tablet just worked. Monitor colour profile just worked. Etc etc etc. Everything has just worked. However, I don’t do bleeding edge video cards, so maybe that’s an issue? I have no idea. Linux though for me, has never needed a driver.
