marx2k,

No one knows what you’re talking about

marx2k,

I love recollection posts like these.

marx2k,

Maybe they’re banging

marx2k,

Does it sound like a giant toddler walking on their heels?

I remember my last apartment. These were my neighbors: i.makeagif.com/media/7-02-2015/yTS99e.gif

Especially considering most Twitter bluechecks today are bot accounts doing chatgpt responses

marx2k,

Ahh soulseek. That takes me back

marx2k,

It really does just look like a Lamborghini you’d get on an N64 if you didn’t have the expansion pack.

marx2k,

I honestly thought that at launch they would drop away the metal panels to reveal a kickass vehicle underneath.

Nope. That’s actually the thing.

lolwtf

marx2k,

dickheads who do things like refuse to tell their wives when they’re going out of town for work

lol wait what?

marx2k,

This reminds me of a coworker I had who used to call the Department of natural resources and try to convince the poor clerk that he shouldn’t have to pay for a fishing license for him and his wife because gay people have the right to get married. I still don’t understand the logic on that but that’s what I overheard.

He then went on to attempt to abduct the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer.

marx2k,

Trust me, it did for everyone that worked with the guy.

marx2k,

I need a BIGGER house, not smaller!

marx2k,

Search “kratky system”. For real i mix 5 gallons of nutrient solution, put it into a 5 gallon bucket, drop 3 plants into that bucket and do nothing else…

This is 2 buckets, 6 plants in front of my grow tent with a 16oz bottle for scale.

marx2k,

I’m totally down for that

marx2k,

Sourdough breads, brewing beer and wine, growing mushrooms, hydroponics, soapmaking, brewing kombucha, making kefir (both kinds), growing marijuana, back yard chickens, gardening, growing sprouts for weekly harvest…

Last night I pondered out loud about a getting a bigger house to get more room for hobbies :/

marx2k,

You’re a person with the finer tastes in life. don’t let the riffraff tell you different

marx2k, (edited )

For dinner, either some kombucha I made or some water kefir i made, both carbonated with Welch’s grape juice. Pretty good stuff.

After dinner, 16oz of a hazy juicy ipa I brewed last month.

I also made a bunch of wine so the wife and I have been drinking these www.acouplecooks.com/kalimotxo-red-wine-coke/

Fucking delicious

  • and yes
marx2k,

Yeah I think my issue had always been no knowledge of how to pick even the right etf. For example, how did you even land on that one?

marx2k,

I make 120k in a medium sized city where the median income is about 75k. I’m pretty content, tbh. I also don’t buy shit i don’t need. Most of my expenses are my hobbies. I do have a lot of hobbies. But I still make enough every two weeks where I’m able to stash it away in a savings account.

Now if I only knew how to and had the balls to invest beyond retirement accounts.

What are some food items that cost less than what they "should"?

Bananas are ridiculously cheap even up here in Canada, and they aren’t grown anywhere near here. Yet a banana can grow, be harvested, be shipped, be stocked, and then be purchased by me for less than it’d cost to mail a letter across town. (Well, if I could buy a single banana maybe…or maybe that’s not the best...

marx2k,

Where are you that almonds are cheap?
