When my IBS-C was at its worst, a week, 7 days, was not uncommon, and my lord was it painful. I don’t know how my longest wait was, but I was put on a diet of pedialyte and given a medicine derived from E. coli.
You know what? I’ve been in therapy for 20+ years of varying degree, and if I estimate out of pocket cost at $50/2 weeks that’s about $26,000. 1 hour a session is 520 hours.
A Ph.D. would cost significantly more time than that and the program cost itself is hard to determine.
I’ve sunk like 150 hours into the game, and my main character is in act 3, but act 3 is so fucking enormous I have no idea what I’m doing more than the first two acts lol.

He also had a history of being screwed by people. The guy did a lot of good work, and arguably his attempt at patenting it was instrumental in preventing it from being patented. I don’t think that was his intention, but good came from it.
It is possible to have a well designed website with ads. Unfortunately, once you start using analytics, you can figure out how to “tweak” your design to increase engagement with ads, thereby increasing revenue.
Before long, your well designed website is a crappy website because that brings in the bacon.
