i’m going through a really nasty divorce. ex called child services on me to say that i’m a danger to my kids. they started an investigation. the whole process got really dragged out. i haven’t been able to spend much time with my kids because while the investigation is ongoing, the judge ordered that i only would get them every other weekend from saturday morning til sunday evening. investigation wrapped up at the end of 2023. child services didn’t find any evidence that I’m a danger, and did in fact find evidence that my ex has been putting them in danger. 2024 will be the year I get my kids back and the year this divorce is finalized.
yeah but, like, would you share your joint with anyone? In my culture, if you’re with friends, you puff and pass. But i don’t think that applies to strangers walking up and asking you for a hit.
Certain things, yes. Certain other things, not at all.
As much as I hate Elon Musk the company he owns that does space stuff pretty rapidly got a whole lot of new rockets up and got them to land instead of crashing into the sea. The newest govt produced rocket, the SLS, was years late and billions of dollars over budget, and they expend the rockets.
spaceX did some cool stuff. That being said, fuck Elon Musk, he had nothing to do with any of its success.
I currently live in france and can confirm. Full of french people speaking french. I told my kids that it’s a made up language and everybody is actually just pretending that they understand what each other is saying.
you do realize that bankruptcy does have consequences, right? for one, it’s nearly impossible to find a new place to live if you’ve ever declared bankruptcy. If you work in certain sectors, you can lose your job. if you’re a government worker, you’d lose your security clearance or probably even a public trust. If you lose your job, new companies that might hire you would likely do a credit check for some reason and find you unqualified because of that bankruptcy.
