I just noticed a Disney film with the 100 years logo, and realized they still have copyright on their OG stuff. Too bad. It was never meant to establish a dynasty, just a bit of crumb before your work went into public domain. Sigh…

I had no idea that you could download movies from the 90ies from archive.org (jeena.net)

I couldn’t find the Flintstones movie from 1994 anywhere but googling it I found it here archive.org/details/the-flintstones_202304 and you can either download it via torrent or directly. On top of it it says that the movie is CC0 which means Public Domain. But that can’t really be, it’s only 29 years old....

Here’s a version that will do a batch (in the current folder/directory)

I think it was an IBM/MS OS. Forget if it was desktop, server or “other” though.

Source? I recall that they only changed their policy from “we will not comply with a request,” to, “we comply with lawful requests,” and the breach was about confidence, not showing they gathered data they claimed not to gather. They still maintain that they don’t log connection details, only payment and account creation, but the rewording of the policy at least implies that they could log more “if asked,” which does leave the user wondering.

Unless you know something I don’t…

So even if github and gitlab and similar were shutdown, the data (code) being worked on can live on, and isn’t tied to the platform, right?
