slackassassin,

Not to discredit your point, but 80 years ago was 1944, and everybody then would know what you mean by that 2nd sentence.

Cool goes back to Shakespeare and beyond. But it was also popular in the American vernacular in the 1930s.

slackassassin,

This mf both sidesing cutting baby dicks, smdh.

slackassassin,

This is the dumbest fucking list of bullshit

  1. Kids can’t consent. Eyup.
  2. Cutting of a body part to avoid cleaning it is a unique kind of stupid argument.
  3. Nobody is against it when it’s necessary. That’s what is known as a strawman argument.
  4. No one is lying. You are the one trying to convince someone to do something. Not doing anything is the fucking default.
  5. Again, addressing phimosis is NOT the issue people are against.
  6. Babies are not capable of doing anything to their bodies.
  7. It can absolutely be harmful and comparing the removal of nerves and tissue from genitalia to a skin tag is so stupid that I actually think you’re trolling.
slackassassin,

Best take right here. Trig shows up a lot when you actually do stuff. Woodworking, programming, physics, art, music, philosophy. Math shit is universal human language.

slackassassin,

Queue podcasts, reply to txt/email, or anything else that needs to be taken care of on the phone so that it can be put away while driving.

slackassassin,

Ya it’s lit af tbh.

slackassassin,

Ya, it comes from all over. Culture is a shared experience that brings people together and should not be treated as antagonistic, regardless of origin.

slackassassin,

Probably serious. These mfs can’t turn that shit off for nothin. People kissing on TV? Degen capitalist conspiracy by the west ^tm.

  • slackassassin,

You may not be aware of this, but using the term Fire Nation to describe a unitary directorial ecclesiocracy attacking you is offensive to the lumen people of Firetown. I used to use it a lot myself until I drowned inside Wade Ripple.

    Nothing more normie than tribalism.

    I love Fahrenheit, it’s awesome. It’s the only non-metric unit I prefer.

Edit: I just really like using it. It’s great.

Edit: It’s the scale I’ll always prefer, just like a spring day in the upper 70s.

Edit: I’ll always love it, forever.

    slackassassin,

Randy bobandy just out there chugging cheese burgers. Noamsayin.

    slackassassin,

I thought the lower decks crossover was good. But, this. This is art.

The LD characters seemed annoying because they were cartoonish, on account of them being cartoons. They played it up to be how people act in the future. But it doesn’t feel out of place in the actual cartoon. Imho.

Plenty of Trek camp was/is very much self-aware and intentional.

    slackassassin,

Telling people to “cope” has never felt very chill or positive. I dunno. But, I’m super grateful for new trek, especially lower decks and snw!

    slackassassin,

    It is known.

    slackassassin,

If your kidneys aren’t making piss you should definitely see a doctor.

    slackassassin,

Ya. Math and engineering totally ducked up my handwriting. I mean, it was already pretty bad. But all those other letters didn’t help!

    slackassassin, (edited )

    Same, Fahrenheit rules.

Edit: Fahrenheit kicks ass, I just love it.

Edit: Sorry, still like it a lot.

Edit: I just love the scale.

Edit: Random thought, Fahrenheit is really great. I enjoy it and will continue to use it alongside metic units.

    slackassassin,

Both perspectives are true and effort is the key in either case.

Not everyone is destined to lose appreciation for the moment, regardless of “newness”.

Nor is everyone so easily adept at willing it to be so.

But engaged awareness, to your point, is a helpful consideration to be sure!

What a great tool to reach for!
