Plenty of services still unfortunately rely on SMS for 2FA, so we’ll still need a client to receive them. Doesn’t really need to be able to send them though, I don’t think any human has sent an SMS message deliberately for about 12 years!
I get your sentiment (that you don’t need to we wealthy to be happy), but most definitions of “poverty” aren’t just “not rich”, they’re more “unable to afford basic means”, which there is a lot wrong with!
To teach them about death as part of a story with a happy ending. I think that The Lion King does it better though as they’ve already been briefed on the circle of life.
