Yes, but people find this interesting because historically, Microsoft was actively trying to destroy Linux (look up Halloween documents) and even said that Linux is cancer.
So, I have used spotify premium for a long time and want to switch to using MP3 files. Is there a way I can find all of the songs I downloaded using SF Premium and copy them to a drive? TIA Comrades
Sice your saved post are synced across different clients, it has to be stored on the server and thus it can probably be view by admins of the instance you’re on. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
In Czech Republic it’s kinda opposite. People nut their pants over paper straws and Coca-Cola caps you can’t remove and they completely ignore the bilions of euros EU gave us (there are the built from EU funds signs basically everywhere). Also some populist politicians saw the oportunity in this and for example our ex premier now makes cringe Tik-Toks where he shits on EU and green deal, even though he was the premier and his party leading goverment when the green deal was approved and he wasn’t against it. Now he says how EU is bad and how it’s fault of current government. This was one example, but there are many czech politicians trying to milk the general dissatisfaction with EU, making it even worse.

I’m not sure how accurate StatCounter is, given that most Linux users use adblockers. However, according to it, Linux has almost a 14% desktop share in India.

Thank you so much, comrades! I am feeling pretty comfortable with linux mint, and now would like some suggestions for some absolutely necessary FOSS or free license software for the OS. So far I have the standard, Firefox, ThunderBird, LibreOffice, yada yada. Thank you again to everyone on the linux comm! sankara-salute
Logseq is a pretty nice FOSS alternative to Obsidian I came across recently. Tmux is absolutely necessary for any terminal work. Wezterm is my favorite terminal emulator because you can easily disable all of the shortcuts except very few you want (tmux handles most of terminal stuff for me). Some new alternatives to old command line utilities:
bat is cat but 1000 times better. I love it so much!
fun factI also recently learned that it’s safer, because you can have a file that has some bad command, then the backspace character several times, and cat doesn’t display the characters “deleted” by the backspaces (but it still executes). Bat doesn’t do that.
Hi. I’ve been using powerlevel10k for a long time, but a few days ago, I decided I wanted to customize it a bit. I opened the .p10k.zsh file, and I was shocked. It’s really massive, with TONS of options. I’ve been digging through for a few hours already, and it’s absolutely amazing how much you can customize it without...
