To add to @garbagebagel’s point I am not sure that a homeless person with a car is very common in Eurasia.
But come to think of it, this depends on how much people are willing to move around and at what point are they considered homeless, e.g. if they can’t afford to sleep anywhere except for the car but have a room in a next town etc.
Also, I am now not sure what is the statistics of ownership of things like cars in a group of homeless people in different places. Could be wrong about the idea that most homeless own close to nothing but don’t know if such a statistic exists.
We once accidentally did this in China far off the usual tourist locations for foreigners. People were chilling outside sitting around the table and we mastook them for a café. The host told us about the errors of our ways but was hospitable enough to talk with us and offered some food, which we paid for. That was an interesting experience
The USSR may have been amazing depending on what things you value in life. As far as I understand, the only thing that was in abundance is stability, which is not the only thing needed for an amazing life, as far as I am concerned.
Also, the image of USSR in pop culture seems to have improved a lot and is now much better than the real thing had ever been, but that’s just marketing bullshit
Yeah, also way more stable in countries where you are not protected by the law and may be told get outta the property you’re renting less than a month in advance. And in countries where you’re protected, the landlord will usually get in your arse checking if you’re a fraud, this makes renting quite a bit more of a problem.
I would guess that you assume environment is changed most of the time, because a footage where it changes gets more attention than a footage where it doesn’t. There are a lot of cams with virtually nothing changing in the view between people passing.
Also, if everyone changes the environment binary search would give lots of false detections in case you don’t know what exactly to expect (like when you mentioned toppling a trash can)
Oh, yes, the contractors, not-exactly-people existing only when convenient. And the conditions for them are usually bad even when their manager tries to improve those, because tops see no additional value in improving conditions for someone that doesn’t exist work in the main corp
It did float even though it was not new and not spacious. Then again, there are sail sport yachts that may be even cheaper but can’t be used as a home or to navigate an open water.
