    That would imply that they’d be willing to be against aliens or other non human sentient species. I disagree with that assumption.

    Though maybe we’ve just defined our tribe as literally every living thing? But that doesn’t seem right to me.

    Where tribalism is normal? That’s literally everywhere. Do you have a favorite sports team? I don’t. Do you have a religion that you think is right? Not me.

    I’m a member of groups, of course, but I feel no urge that these groups are somehow better or more than others.

    Now, is it genetic or learned? Who knows. I was just replying to the guy who said it was a gene. I guarantee no research shows that’s a thing.

    It’s the paradox of tolerance sadly. If they insist on being tribal then they’re insisting of being removed from the whole. And I care about the whole.

    I’m studying at a univetsity and I want to begin to do sports. I want to do kickboxing, but I’m afaraid of to get strong hand blow to head bucause due to it I can get concussion of the brain which may cause my mental abilities to deteriorate.     Take up fencing and carry a knife instead.

    Most martial arts that you would practice are very careful about not giving you injuries. You’re practicing, not competing. Find a place to study, and ask the point blank how many injuries they get per month. The answer should be basically zero.

    We can talk about cooperation and compromise as soon as the right starts doing it. For the last 40 years, the left is compromised and the right has dug in. This is dragged the country way farther right than we deserve.

    Yeah, that’s nothing to do with porn, and everything to do with the awkwardness of your coworkers talking about banging their spouses at work.

    It’s weird for two reasons. One, if you struggle to get pregnant it puts a lot of external pressure on you and you’ll have to go back and let people know you’re potentially infertile. Two, talking about biological things isn’t appropriate in some settings. I don’t want to hear about your colonoscopy. I don’t want to hear that you’re raw dogging your wife. I don’t want to hear about you surgery. Sir, this is a Wendy’s.

    You can teach kids about death without having to use a thing they care about. Though if my kids didn’t care about the rat, you’re spot on.

    And points for being able to talk about your trauma like that.
