The anti-vax movement is alot bigger in the US than any other western country, so yeah.

That’s basically the answer.

themurphy,

Did you just call western media for non-propaganda? Dude, it’s working then.

themurphy,

If you don’t own it when you buy, it’s not stealing when you take it.

themurphy,

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it is what the comment OP was referring to.

themurphy,

That’s why you have GDPR.

themurphy,

Also, the EU just launched a new plan for railroads all across Europe! Ofc Switzerland won’t get any additional upgrades, but they are still somewhat connected because of the proximity.

Link to picture of railroad plan.

themurphy,

Yes, but nowhere compared to the Netherlands and Denmark

Ofc the size of the countries makes it easier.

themurphy,

People from the US will be surprised how far the rest of the western world, and high tech eastern Asia, are ahead of the states in terms of recycling and infrastructure.

themurphy,

You accept that you live in the most late stage capitalist country of all time that’s very pro monopoly.

And then you move I guess. No one believes USA will ever change for the better.

themurphy,

I can’t see why porn would ever fade away. “Traditional” porn is by far the most viewed still. Camgirl or OF businesses are just more direct in terms of earning your money.

Also, porn has driven the Internet and it’s inventions. Video streaming is perfected today because of the groundwork from the porn industry.

themurphy,

Who cares what you think though.

themurphy,

Like many else suggests: Cut the media. The world doesn’t care if you follow it or not, and you’ll be much happier all the time.

Alternative, try to follow positive media. I created my own community for this purpose only, called /c/worldinprogress

themurphy,

There’s 8 posts or something, because I just started the community.

And it’s not like UpliftingNews, because they focus more on individuals, as this is for general progress in the world.

Hope you’d like it!

themurphy,

I think it’s because people see capitalism as one thing, while in reality they are implemented very differently.

The nordics are not successful only on their capitalism. It’s because it is regulated, and because the money is distributed more fair than in other countries.

themurphy,

Yeah, my content is unique and in a language not found at any public trackers.

I’m asking here because some people may be uploading files themselves, and may have experience in compressing. And how to do it.

themurphy,

It’s in a language not on the seven seas, so it’s all something I can’t find.

themurphy, (edited )

Thanks, I’ll try handbreak!

The problem is the DVDs is in a language I couldn’t find reliably to download. I once had access to a private tracker that had these things, but they got shut down, and I was on a long vacation while they migrated.

So I missed the window and I haven’t been able to get in since.

themurphy,

Maybe it’s rare but mostly it’s because I don’t have access to any private trackers in my language.

themurphy,

Oh, that’s clever! I’ll definitely try that also!

themurphy,

That’s very clever! I’ll try that. Thanks!

themurphy,

Thanks! I’ll try that.

themurphy,

I think the reason why you get the OTA is because Doogee uses mostly non modified Android software, making the official releases available for your phone with ease.

themurphy,

Swappable batteries are coming back in 2027 because of the EU.

Under the legislation, consumers must be able to "easily remove and replace” portable batteries used in devices such as smartphones, tablets, and cameras.
