Zou het minimumloon loon flink opkrikken een optie zijn? Al krijg je dan natuurlijk dat lonen in het algemeen weer omhoog gaan, wat het effect weer teniet doet om ouderen aan te nemen.
Klinkt interessant, hoe gemakkelijk is het monteren en demonteren? Het opplakken vergt wel wat precisie natuurlijk. Plus je moet goed bij de ramen kunnen.
Mijn hemel wat een heftig verhaal.. Zo'n situatie kent ook van alle kanten alleen maar ellende. Wat een leven heeft dat kind gehad, en waar moet de moeder in vredesnaam doorheen zijn gegaan om zo te worden.
Ik ben het met je eens dat dit nu veel te beperkt is; maar verspilling wil ik het niet noemen. Er staat nu een basis die goed kan worden uitgebreid met meer technische info / referenties.
Maar er kritisch op zijn in deze vorm lijkt me een goede stimulans dit stevig te verbeteren.
Regulering is de beste manier denk ik; op basis van een systeem als de pil van Drion. Niet per se het middel verstrekken, maar gewoon bij een bepaalde specialist hebben staan waar je op een derde afspraak het zelf uit de kast kun pakken in een kamertje, eventueel met geliefden om je heen, op je eigen manier.
Je kiest er niet voor om geboren te worden; het lijkt me het meest humaan als we iemand die het echt wilt in deze keuze kunnen ondersteunen.
Maar we hebben als collectief nog wel wat mentale stappen te maken in de samenleving vrees ik. Leven wordt nog te vaak een soort verzonnen heilige waarde toebedeeld, iets dat we zonder uitzondering in stand moeten houden.
Het was op dat moment een bijzonder tragische gebeurtenis, maar niet met opzet vanuit de regering. Ik begrijp eigenlijk wel dat bedrijven die gewoon handel drijven dat willen blijven doen, dat gebeurt op een heel ander niveau tussen mensen die hier niets mee te maken hebben. Een compensatie vanuit Rusland zou op zijn plaats zijn, na onderzoek rond schuldigen.
Bij opzettelijk georganiseerde acties (zoals richting Georgië 2008 / de Krim eerder dan MH17 in 2014 en nu uiteraard Oekraïene) kun je in mijn beleving wel strenger beleid hanteren.

It’s a lot better now, the kid is great and I’m amazed how much love I feel, but I always feel guilty. For giving life (something that goes against my principles as I did not want to be born myself) and for not being able to 50/50 care because of the mental shit that makes me unable to. Aside from that the usual, missing my freedom, the continuous responsibility.
I would not do it again in a reset of my life, not because of the kid who I genuinely think is great, but due to my lack of mental health, which has the potential each and everyday to ruin it all for them (which is a compulsive intrusive thought in my mind). But I hang on, I try to.
With all the love and respect, I would not recommend anyone in my situation.
Other than your carrier give it for free or cheap, I don’t really see the reason why should you buy new phone. I’ve been using Redmi Note 9 for past 3 years and recently got my had on Poco F5. I don’t see the point of my ‘upgrade’. I sold it and come back to my Note 9. Gaming? Most of them are p2w or microtransaction...
Check out the Fairphone; you can replace parts like battery and the production line tends to be (more) sustainable. They also provide security updates for 5+ years.
They don’t have really high-end phones though, but personally I think most moderate phones nowadays are fine for practically all usecases. For me it works out fine, as I already used mid-range phones for a couple of years.
I hope they will do something like a subscription for even longer updates (if enough people are interested). Don’t need a new phone if this keeps working / being repairable.
That’s of course fair (yes… intended). They are indeed expensive compared to many other phones, especially mid-rangers. It took me a while to decide to switch.
For anyone who can easily afford it though, it might be something to keep in the back of your head perhaps in the future :) I hope this small trend of replacable parts and longtime security support in phones continues.
