Same experience on Linux for me. Install Steam, install Proton, set it to be default for all games. Click and play. 🙂👍 Not really “fiddling”. It’s a one-time thing that I equate to just installing Steam. Very good experience.
How old are you? Do you remember how stupid we were when we were like, 12? How learning new shit really required over clarification ad nauseam seen through our eyes now? Teachers are really patient people.
Anyway, this is just a joke post. Get over it. 🙂 Laugh at the funny. Instead of sucking it out of us. ❤️ The parentheses help make it look like the math is more advanced than it really is. It’s fine. Shhh. No no. Shhh. It’s supposed to be funny.
What about grilled sausage on a pier looking out to the horizon in a country that starts with a C? I just am super curious about that specific case, you know?
Wondering how much of the Lemmy user base wouldn’t use an adblocker. If you do use one what other blocking do you use to circumvent data collection, YouTube and reddit front ends and things alike?
Hanlon’s Razor comes into play here. If you don’t believe me
No no, I already believe that. I think that’s one of the most soothing and comforting adages ever. I suppose it’s just not in many Americans’ culture to think in terms of “what good can I be to society during my lifetime/today/in this situation,” rather than “how can I help myself/make the smallest burden for myself, right now”. I dunno.
I remember when I came to America for a few months, twice. I would gain a lot of weight both times. I thought it was quite frustrating. But cheap food really is bad for you.
Sorry, I’ve become confused about what you mean by “here” or “there”, and where you are based.
You mean coins are required in America? Because not in Sweden. They used to be, like 20-15 years ago. But they removed that. Not sure if there was a law that came into effect or something but… not anymore with the coins. Carts are free to take into the store without coins. Still, everyone returns them.
What do you like about Hyprland compared to i3? I’ve been using i3 reliably for over a decade, but did try Hyprland and thought it just felt like a new Compiz in its default state. What drives you to it?
You could turn invisibility on and off as you like and there would be no time limit. Your clothes would turn invisible too, and you could decide whether the items you are holding would be visible or not....
To light, there’s no difference in those times, as I understand. A light particle doesn’t experience traveling at all. From its own perspective, it exists where it is created, then immediately where it is absorbed, in the same instance. So you could say it doesn’t experience time at all. All of its energy exists in its velocity, and none of it in its movement through time.
Don’t ask me to prove or explain this, because I don’t remember where I heard it or if I even remember it correctly. 😅

Would you choose invisibility or teleportation?
