For me-- Lemmy is getting dangerously close to pulling me away from Reddit, and I love it, but still, there’s a ways to go in terms of ‘critical features,’ yeah?...

Tired of seeing posts about Threads, for example. I would appreciate being able to apply a soft (show that post exists but collapsed and with warning) or hard mute (don’t display the post) of posts with that keyword (in title or body)....

As I get older into adulthood I feel like more and more things require my attention. Trying to juggle work, family, home maintenance etc I’m constantly busy. I started with Jerboa and then I switched to Connect. They both feel comparable…maybe Connect is a tad more intuitive.

I know there’s donations and the owners can use their own money, but there’s a limit. I doubt a platform with hundreds of thousands of daily users can survive with only donations.
