Is there a good way to promote a magazine on kbin to other places?
Hi all,
I opened a League of Legends magazine on kbin, but for such a popular game I'm having serious issues actually getting people in there. am I doing something wrong? I thought it naturally would fill up with users but it's not. I'm still very new to kbin, and I sincerely don't understand any of this stuff. Just trying to get more activity in magazines I'm interested in!
Does anybody know how to logg in into jerboa app with lemmy.fmhy.ml? I am new to lemmy. I can't find this specific instance on there or i just i don't know how to do this
If software on the fediverse such as lemmy and kbin are connected similar to emails, how come I cannot use kbin with my lemmy account and have to create a new one for kbin specifically? Is this just a bug, or have I misunderstood how the fediverse works?
Hey all. One of the best features of 3rd party reddit apps was hiding the post once you viewed or scrolled past so that you wouldn't see the same post each time you open the app/site. I believe this one done via the hide post feature via 3rd party apps. Does Lemmy support anything like this? Thanks!
One annoying thing I noticed on Lemmy is that is someone mentions a Community and links to it, that link usually just opens up the “home” instance of that community. While I actually wanted to see it on my instance so I can join it an participate. What is the proper way to do it? Or is there some browser plugin that makes...

I used to be fit, running, cycling, partner acrobatics, etc. But I have done very little cardio, strength, or flexibility training since our wonderful daughter came along. She doesn’t sleep well so part of the problem is energy. But the main issue is finding time. My partner and I both work remotely, I have a 08:00-16:30 tech...
For me, I’m nearly 40 and I really love Avatar the last Airbender, reading YA novels, and sometimes I make pasta with fun shapes, just because I can....
I have been thinking about it for some time and I'm concerned that if a big instance like lemmy.ml goes down does the content hosted on lemmy.ml will be deleted too or a copy of the content will be available on other instances?
I read The Verge's latest interview with Steve Huffman here and it seems as though the Reddit blackout is having little to no effect. It also seems as though the communities at large don't really care and will probably just use the official app or don't really know there are 3rd party ones. So it seems this will pass and be...
