Does this mean we only need one debrid account when using plex in different places? I am currently responsible for the movie+series management in my family and will put things on plex for whatever is in demand. However it would be nice if I didnt have to do this, and that they could just fetch things themeselves in Plex. Not super keen on having to pay for a debrid account per location, as debrid will ban the account if seen to be used on different public addresses (if im not mistaken)
I could never get it to work well, every movie I tried would only play for a few seconds then buffer, then just become unplayable, on very good Internet.
This project is currently in a very early stage of development. Kando is not yet a functional menu but rather a prototype which demonstrates the feasibility of the concept.
Since Kando is still in early development, it might be a good idea to look at the Gnome Extension Fly-Pie. It’s from the same developer and it looks like Kando will be similar.
His coding videos are really nice to see. I don’t even understand that much, as it’s mostly C++, but the coding, the explanation, and the final feature and commit is somehow relaxing.
The main difference between this project and the ones you listed is that this project includes a Plex installation out of the box. The other projects require you to connect to a separate Plex instance.
You have to hand it to mocrospft though in the console department, xbox generally dont have software hacks to jailbreak consoles historically (generally hard mods), but nintendo and sonys OS is usually riddled with exploits.
The container connects to the VPN and only the VPN, now you can route whatever docker containers you want through that container as a network. Now that one VPN connection can serve any container you want.
Also, you can just copy “-reddit” (the parts in between the quotes) and append it to any search (with every search engine I tested) to have reddit results removed. You could just have it in a text file easily accessible or make a macro or an autohotkey to do it if you don’t want to copy and paste every time.
