navi,

Hey!

This was my experience lately when visiting downtown Vancouver (Gastown) for parking. Like 3-4 signs per post that somewhat contradict each other on times of day for parking.

90° right turn!

LegionEris, to comicstrips in xkcd: Sign Combo

You gotta do a secretory vesicle turn (looks like the open one!) where you swerve wildly off the road, circle around, blaze directly across the street at a right angle, then circle back onto the road heading the other direction. No stopping, no entering, and it’s technically not a U-turn.

otter,

Haven’t thought about secretory vesicles in a while, and this is a pretty unique context for them lmao

LegionEris,

It’s the shape my brain drew as I read those signs. It follows all the rules!

“Light hearted election joke” feels like an oxymoron at this point, but this really hit the spot!

Only applies to black democrats.

Whitish-orange Republicans don’t have to worry about the constitution, if modern events tell us anything.

LemmyKnowsBest,

Trump was only elected president once. He qualifies to run again. unfortunately.

For years I thought this settled the source of FRBs, from the headlines

Ilovethebomb,

And they knew it was terrestrial in origin, because only one dish picked it up, whereas if it was was of outerstellar origin, multiple sites would have received it.
