Disney is not in a position to be acquiring large properties right now. Maybe Amazon is interested?

Blackmist,

What, so they can lock it behind the Star Trek Plus channel, just 4.99 a month on top of Amazon Prime.

Now with extra targeted adverts!

I have seen things you people would not believe… Borg ships on fire in the 21st century. I’ve watched Lt. Worf caper in scarlet tights. All those moments will be lost… like Yar in tar.

Chief of Security from Lower Decks. His “thing” is asking to either blow up, or eject, warp cores.

I mean, yeah. The warp core is generally jettisoned as a last resort, and if the ship has taken a severe beating, the relevant tubes and conduits might be bent out of shape, making it harder to get it out.

Rolder,

You would think that a system needed only when shit is hitting the fan would be designed to work under extreme circumstances.

Transporter_Room_3,
@Transporter_Room_3@startrek.website avatar

To be fair, given how starfleet operates, it’s a miracle the warp cores don’t spontaneously detonate at any given moment.

Most species would build two ships if given two warp cores.

Starfleet would weld the two together and try to go twice as fast.

(0) Pick a cart.

(1) Kick the troubled wheel off if there are at least two, otherwise skip to 4. (2) Then discover one of the others is the worst one now. (3) Go to 1.

(4) Go to 0.

(5) You singlehandedly destroyed the local cart infrastructure and remebered that you didn’t actually need anything.

It’s relatively new. The book it came from only came out in 2005. My daughter begged us to do it. Thankfully only for two years. Every day you’re supposed to find a new place to find the elf and they’re supposed to find it. Which she couldn’t do without basically guiding her to it.

    I hate that fucking elf.

I always questioned why some characters disliked replicated food and thought it was just there as some sort of Luddite ideology some people have, like the way a few characters are afraid of transporters. But then I saw recently on Memory Alpha that they can adjust their resolution and replicate things that are not quite perfect. Imagine eating the 140p food 🤢

    dejected_warp_core,

They make a nod to this on Lower Decks. The higher ranking officers have access to an entirely different replicator menu, suggesting a distinction in quality overall.
